Love that movie. Gotta see it again soon.

The game looks kinda cool.

Exactly. We could've had KOTOR 3, 4 and 5 instead of MMO-failure #154.

I've played through both KOTORs four or five times and probably will again, but I would love a new proper sequel.

I'll probably go wizard on my first playthrough, but haven't decided on the other options. Human is a safe choice, but Godlike is very tempting ...

Yeah, you should be good to go with the vanilla version.

I decided to take a break before delving into the DLC, so I can't comment on the quality/value yet.

Is the game THAT good? A lot of people were poo pooin it....maybe I can throw this in before GTA 5 comes out? I hammered out Mordor in 2 weeks and did 50 hours. How much time this one take up?

I guess you could hurry through in 10-12 hours. I spent 30+ hours exploring the station and getting all the collectibles. The atmosphere is so gorgeous, it would be a shame to not stop and savour the best bits.

The original GF was the first Lucasart adventure with "tank" controls and it took some time getting used to. I think I would prefer point and click myself.

Would the player have to move within range of an object prior to interacting with it? If so, that sounds far worse than anything Telltale could conceive.

It's listed on GOG as a "point-and-click", so I'm hoping they develop a control scheme similar to early point-and-click adventures.

Exactly. When you got close enough his head would turn towards the object to indicate you could interact with it.

It's really the only negative thing about Grim Fandango.

No revamped controls? Oh oh...

The video said choice between old or new control schemes.

I had never played Grim Fandango, but if it's point and click like the original Monkey Island or Sam and Max, then I don't have a problem with it.

I just hope they don't develop controls for it like Telltale did with MI or S&M. They were absolute crap and I couldn't get myself to play through either one of them.

DX:HR had excellent music, one of the best examples of music adding to the atmosphere naturally. I own DX:HR and the Director's Cut on Steam, do I have legal access to the sound track? I don't see an obvious way to get it.

I don't mind the piss filter but I can see why others don't like it and I think they would be better off not making orange a Deus Ex hallmark.

The Augmented Version included it, but steam doesn't appear to sell it, and amazon wants $30.

(at that price) You'd be better off just grabbing the cd...

And the CD includes tracks that are not in the Augmented edition. Totally worth the price.

I really should start on my non-stealthy playthrough soon.

CCP are douchebags...shocker!

Well if you were stuck on a tiny barren island in the north Atlantic where it was dark half the year, you'd probably be messed in the head too. The lack of vitamin D alone would mess you up.

They have an excellent supply of fish to counteract that effect.

I thought the first game was great and was looking forward to the sequel. Bethesda claims they canceled it due to quality issues but from what I've read, it had more to do with Human Head refusing to let Bethesda buy them out. I find that entirely plausible, as Bethesda hasn't published a third-party game in years and has acquired every studio they've worked with.

Except Obsidian on Fallout: New Vegas

Sigh, and fucking ID Tech 5.... I hate that engine with such passion It is a really bad engine. The physics are horrible, the animations look clunky... everything seems like it's disconnected in that engine.

Oh well.... To each their own I guess.....

I don't know. I thought Wolfenstein: The New Order was pretty excellent.
