7.11 caused all sorts of horrible crashed with Source games COD4 and UT3 on my X1800XT even after using the ATI driver remover tool. These better not be as poop.
EDIT: COD4 runs great now. November must have just been an off month.

Check your account standing. For some reason they didn't charge my card last month but the site kept kept recognizing me as a paid subscriber until I logged in and out a few times. I had to resubscribe again. Weird.
I registered for the beta again and this time clicked on the link on the web page rather than the email they send you for the download and it worked. The url they send you must be broken.

I've watched some matches online and they mostly last 10-15 minutes and end in mass Venom or Mammouth rushes. Pretty shallow stuff compared to the epic matches of COH I've played.
Has C&C3 really got any lasting appeal online?

I thought it was complete poop. I'd had it on preorder for months until the demo came out. I couldn't log onto play.com fast enough to cancel.

I loved and finished the first Dawn of War. I actually enjoyed the cut scenes with the storyline. The slightly camp Chaos sorcerer 'I command the darker powers" was my favourite. The kind of awesome 40K game I've been waiting for for years.
Finished Winter Assault with the 'good' side, final battle against the Necron was pretty cool but lost interest with the Ork campaign when I kept failing a level. Pretty good for an expansion I thought though. Imperial Guard were an interesting well developed new race.
I played 4 maps on Dark Crusade and uninstalled it. The Tau were an OK addition, not great though, and the Necron units are all very samey, bland and boring.
Worst of all the missions were just skirmishes and the AI is too crap to make that remotely enjoyable.
Also having picked up COH around the same time I just couldn't go back to DoW anymore.
Hopefully there will be a new DoW game using the newer engine. One day a decent turn based Final Liberation type game might be made again too.

What's taking Natural Selection: Source so damn long to come out?
I can't help but compare every mod to NS. That game just blew my mind when it came out and nothing's come close since. If half assed mods like Eternal Silence have taken this long I'm sure NS Source is years away. I can't believe Flayra has failed to get financial backing for a full game:-(

Have also been using Amazon to rent and it's very efficient. Just wish you could have more than 6 a month. I've got lots of films to catch up on

God I loved Tribes 2. I still cry about what was Tribes 3. Can't wait for http://www.starsiege2845.com/splash6.html (if it's ever released)
Anyway, BF2 has potential but obviously needs 6-12 months of patching. Haven't played it since the first patch and by the time they do fix it I should have the next Flashpoint, UT2007 or Quake Wars to satisfy my strategic FPS with vehicles fetish.
Better luck next time Dice.

WinZip is poo. XP's built in support is also poo, it can't even cope with nested archives.
Winrar all the way. Or 7Zip if I really want to squeeze it tight and have lots of spare time.

I still think we need a Tycoon Tycoon. Where you run a 3dr rate software company that has to develop and market awful games.
