how long does it take to generate a new master key. is it really that difficult to create a new one and recompile the game?
but anyway, the leak already achieved free publicity. one thing is for sure... EA will never investigate how it happened. but if they do, will we ever see the result of the investigation? they seem to be focused on who will download it rather than who made it possible in the first place. |

| how convenient for EA marketing. oh a leak, buy our game or else. yeah right. its hard to believe someone who had the ability to steal files for a high profile game would go after the segment with the smallest market size. |

Duke: Put. That rocket. Down. Rocket's for closers only. You think I'm messing with you? I am not messing with you. I'm here from headquarters. I'm here from a little place called... What? Who's there? Earth! I'm here on a mission for Mercury. Your name's Zirik? You call yourself a gamer you son of a bumblebee door knocker crayola greenie melt?! Zirik: I don't gotta sit here and listen to this super mean stuff! Duke: You certainly don't pal, 'cause the good news is - you're transferred! The bad news is - you've got, all of you've got just one week to regain your rockets starting with tonight. Starting with tonight's onslaught. Oh? Have I got your attention now? Good. Cause we're adding a little something to this month's frag contest. As you all know first prize is a special, limited edition, 24-karat, dual-port, big huge Rocket with EXTRA pew-pew sounds! Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of knives. Third prize is you're transferred to potato detail! Get the picture? You laughing now? You got aliens. Headquarters paid good money to train you. You can't kill those aliens you're shown you can't shoot poop. You ARE poop! Hit the bricks pal, and beat it 'cause the rockets are going to someone else! Zirik: Aliens are weak! Duke: Aliens are weak? Aliens are weak?! You're weak... poopsicle head! you have to tell what you drink for breakfast or dinner. lol. |

Stole from Duke Nukem, LOL. You do realize that almost every line out of Duke's mouth was ripped off from a movie, right? thats what i meant. i guess i should have slept first before posting incoherent and half awake. there is a video on youtube where they compared dukes one liners with the movie counterparts. |

9mb is probably accurate as it needs a ton of data to calculate collision detection for bullets and other types of ammo. they probably asked everyone from firing a weapon to keep it from crashing.
did DICE ever release an official 64bit version of BF2? that might help in this situation. |

zirik wrote on Jan 19, 2011, 20:38: is oleg involved in this expansion? he needs to focus on finishing SOW. This IS Storms of War. They just attached the IL-2 brand to it and changed the title to something a touch less generic. ah i see. i was wondering how they will implement dx11 on the old stuff. so this is just a spiritual sequel to the series. it cannot use the aircrafts or missions of the old il-2.
to anyone who is interested simply do a search for storms of war on youtube for previews of the game engine. it will blow you away! this is what microsoft promised for the dx11 visuals of flight sim x but never delivered. rivet counters will rejoice!
EDIT: uhh, any word on what kind of draconian DRM will be used for the game?
