ice white 3DS still has no second analog stick. yet a third party game requires the accessory to add it. and nintendo wonders why their latest handheld is not selling as well as they thought it would be.

i think batman arkham asylum had the right idea when it comes to piracy. the game mechanic is crippled when playing a pirated copy. maybe thats an avenue developers should look into when trying to reward legitimate users versus using draconian DRM. also provide part of the game content online in small increments for free to legitimate users. yes it will require online access periodically but at least its not persistent connection.
