I love steam steam but those prices break the deal for me .... 80$ for cod4 over here(germany), while i can get it for around 30$ anywhere else .... and will not wait an additional 10 days for clear sky when i can get it right now for half the price ... Sorry I`d love to buy everything over steam but with those prizes ......

actualy it has widescreen support since release you only have to start it with: "BF2142.exe +menu 1 +widescreen 1 +szx 1440 +szy 900" for 1440x900 or just enter your desired res  works with bf2, too btw

The problem with JO is that they screwed it up. Before Escalation came out it was one of the best online games I ever played, nearly perfect netcode(150 players and no lag at all), good gfx with excellent fps but the addon with its patch for the original joint ops screwed it all up, broke the netcode(hardly manages 50players without lag) and the gfx... it took them +8 months to get the next patch out and they hardly managed to improve nething at all(worse they even broke more stuff). Joint Ops had the potential but Novalogic broke it and destroyed the community

whats that collection for afterall ? you can get the original and the addon for 10 bucks each in the bargin bin ......
