If you're looking for some kind of deep simulation you are not going to find it in Pirates. This is just a very light hearted, fun, and silly game that I am immensely enjoying.

You guys are really exaggerating the "script fest" claim. The combat looks to be a lot less scripted than CoD or past MOH titles, actual AI on the planes certainly is new. This demo is guilty of being very linear though, its going to be disappointing if I can't leave the old dirt path when I play the full game.

I phrased that somewhat badly, I should of said so far. It would be literally impossible for anyone to finish D3 in a day.
Unless the hell levels are radically different I will probably keep that opinion, but lets just wait until we're all finished before someone starts arguing with me, D3 may still surprise me.

So your view is that MS had to have everything correct for the Xbox version? Are you actually under the impression that MS was extrememly anal that Halo had to be perfect? You must of not been playing the same levels I was pal, this is clearly a rushed title.
Halo for the PC is fundamentally flawed, Gearbox decided to use high-end DX 9 features with very little visual improvement, and the netcode sucks. If you can somehow formulate that mess is Microsofts fault I would love to hear it, you kind of remind of the guys that believe Steam is the end of the gaming industry or the guys that went on for months how evil Epic is after UT2003 was released.
I mean my god man a 12 year old would reach your conclusion.

I swear it works! We can rile the support of the masses to burn the houses of Bill Gates and paint the streets red with the blood of the swine that ride the working class to death for their own personal gain. We shall set up Communist factions in each major city around the states, recruiting only the most fervent believers who will carry out orders without question. A major propaganda campaign with soften up the public for the cause before the military strikes are issued from the guerilla bases set up in the Andes and Rockies. Once Washington is captured, the current government will be disposed of and I shall be placed as the Supreme Overlord of the Red Empire. Churches and movie theatres will be destroyed, the Red Army will seize all private property, and hordes of gold and millions of dollars in hard currency will flow into our vast chambers so we can live like kings for the rest of our lives!!
