I am with DRM to counter pirating, but I am against it when only when it pause my enjoyment of the game, and that's like 1% chance as you said. That may be the case right now when the game has just launched, but a couple of years down the line it might be 100% of the time. They have no obligation to keep the DRM servers online indefinitely or patch it away, and I sure as hell won't count on them to do so. I still regularly play games from the 90's, so I have a hard time accepting the attempt to turn games into throwaway commodities, which it kinda feels like. |

| I really enjoyed the demo for Scratches, but still haven't gotten around to playing the full game. It felt genuinely creepy though. Curious to see what they'll come up with. |

| He'll stay in parliament until the end of the term, but I understand the attorney general gig is separate from that, and he's already gone from that office. He's not going to be vetoing anything anymore. |

| Considering the garbage they're spewing regarding just about every aspect of this DRM issue, I can't help but suspect that trying to attribute their downtime to "DDoS attacks" is just a pathetic attempt to shift blame to something else than the fact that their system just doesn't work. I'd be surprised if their "attacks" were anything else than customers trying to futilely play their games, and the servers just not being able to handle it. |

| If they actually want to sell that thing, they probably shouldn't promote it with a "Baby's First Jetpack" compilation where some amateurs hover an inch off the ground with two guys acting as training wheels. |

And wtf is Portalarium? Is that anything like the planet-arium? My first thought was that it has something to do with portapotties. Combining that with a planetarium leads to some scary mental images. |

[...]might have been anxious to have Interplay fail[...] I'd say Interplay failed years before this deal. And it's Bethesda's money that has allowed them to keep doing whatever it is they're doing (mainly just baiting investors perhaps).
I wish Caen would stop propping up Interplay's unholy corpse and let it rest already. The only thing I would fault Bethesda with is having given them enough money to pay off their debts, since otherwise Interplay and Caen would be long gone by now. |

I've been a fan of their sandboxy ways since nineteen-ninety-whenever Daggerfall came out, but I couldn't be less interested in an ES MMO. Back around the time Morrowind came out I remember one of the guys (maybe Todd Howard) saying that Elder Scrolls would never go multiplayer and that's just not the kind of experience the games are about.
I guess WoW happened after that. If you have a popular series these days your shareholders likely aren't going to be happy until you try to get some monthly fees out of it.
As much as I'm looking forward to TES V, I won't even consider getting this. I wish them luck, but not too much or it might take their focus away from the singleplayer games. |

I really hate complaining about games taking time I don't think people are complaining about it taking time as much as the way they just seemingly completely dropped HL2 in the middle of the story and have refused to say anything about it since then. Episode 1 came out in 2006, episode 2 came out in 2007; it's sort of understandable that people who bought the games would like to see the plot wrapped up, but barring that, you'd think they would at least communicate on the matter within a few years after leaving their fans hanging. Whether they lost interest, or they're upgrading their tech, or they felt that adventures in zombieland were more lucrative, I don't know, but they really seem to be vying for DNF's industry joke mantle with how they've handled this thing. |

| Check out some rape statistics. I'd think internet porn is something they should seriously consider encouraging over there as a healthy alternative to their normal cultural norms. |
