I'm half hoping this, DJ Hero and Tony Hawk: Ride all flop horribly, Robert Kotick loses his job, defaults on his mortgage, developes a PCP habit and ends up under a bridge somewhere.
Or at least the job part. I guess I'd feel pretty bad about the rest. |

Do you know what 'predated' means? Do you know that 1981 came before 1992? He said "the first one", and considering Akalabeth was the first Ultima game, used 1st person view in the dungeon mode, and came out in 1979, he's in fact right.
You do know that 1979 came before 1981, right? |

Does GoGamer only sell within the US? They seem to only ship to US addresses. I'm a foreign devil, and I just ordered a bunch of games for a friend in the US. It seemed to go through alright. I had to do it via Google Checkout, though, as their own system only had a pulldown menu for US states for the billing address. Guess I'll find out what happens! |

| I wouldn't be surprised if those were just the countries that they want to put pressure on currently, so they release some random percentages to try to influence policy. Maybe there's some law that's currently being voted on? It's not like they're above that. |

*Retraction* Actually, I may have been thinking about the Worldwide Invitational... not sure they ever streamed Blizzcon before.

That obsolete tech article made me feel really old. Nice read.
It probably says a lot about me that I've actually tried to find old modem connect sounds to download, but happily they linked to a simulator. |

| Wasn't there speculation some time ago that it would be set in Skyrim? I have no source for that; just some muddled memory. That should be a bit more interesting the the generic high fantasy of Oblivion, although of course Akavir would be ideal as far as strangeness and uniqueness goes. |

A particularly vile and worthless bird, IMO. I guess all opinions aren't created equal.
If you'd like to supplement opinion with actual fact, I can tell you that crows are in fact exceptionally intelligent animals, and a whole lot less vile and worthless than a lot of humans.
I even found a little article on Fox News for you, in case you're more comfortable there |

| She's pretty lucky. If her head had caught the edge she might've easily died. It's definitely a big mistake from the workers, but just because there was the potential of her getting hurt it doesn't mean she's entitled to anything. There's potential of getting hurt around every corner; shouldn't mean we can all go around suing speculatively. |

I should give this a try, as I have a 250GB WD Caviar that's been reduced to a paperweight thanks to a similar thing.
Only way I've gotten it to work properly is by installing a dynamic drive overlay on the master boot record, but I feel really uncomfortable storing anything on a drive with a hacked MBR so I rather just ditched the drive. |
