This game's is going to own if it's even half as good as BF1942. Sadly though I suspect it's going to be an dumbed down or "EAized" version of Desert Combat but I really hope not. Hopefully they learned what NOT to do through BF:V.

LOL OWNED!! If the Blizzard forums are anything like the Steam forums, I'll bet they're all in there right now whining about their rights or how they can't be banned legally or some such horseshit. How long is the ban on WoW?
It's a year on CS. Should be permanent IMHO.

I still play DC daily. It's not just twice the game that CS:S is it's twice the game that plain old CS is. I never understood the popularity of that game. DC's still great but BF2 will own all.

I love how you can carry objects and use them as a shield. I was lugging a desk around while some clown emptied his machine gun at me. When he was reloading, BOOOM, face full 'o' desk! The grav gun rocks. There's just something about owning a guy with a toilet!

I don't like to block ads on Blues because they're what keeps this site free. I don't mind it so much here because they're usually a non issue. I just hate to see him get Munson'd by an advertiser that takes a mile when given an inch.

That's the thing. They al show up with <100 pings but when you connect, lag city. It's been unplayable for me so far.
If I remember right HL's netcode sucked huge piles of ass when it first came out too.
Steam forums are down. I wonder if this is due to server load, or if they do this after a release to avoid the inital shitstorm of pissed off users.
