I am partially colorblind. I don't remember the exact form of colorblindness but I know I can't tell the difference between certain colors including reds and greens. This has made playing Killzone 2 pretty hard for me.
I don't think anyone should be sued or lose money but some attention needs to be brought to this. Approximately 10% of men suffer from this. |

Reading this pisses me off because this is what they promised in the first place!
One of the biggest reasons I wanted to play AOC was that they said "Gear will make a minimal difference it will be about skill". They deviated so far off the path of what they promised that's why they lost their playerbase.
PvP system wasn't ready when the game launched, but did they work on PvP first? No they tried to fix PvE, nobody came to the game for that.
UGH, I gotta stop cause I'll rant forever. |

I mean the game doesn't have any shadows. You know, those things that give objects depth and greatly enhance a player's immersion in a virtual world.
Jerykk I've got to disagree with you. Shadow ruined the Sonic Franchise for me, and putting him in Fallout would just ruin it frankly.

I thought this was going to be like Dungeon Siege in space, I know that sounds bad but really that's what I wanted.
Necromancer = Robot AI Expert
Mage/Healer = Some sort of Engineer
Warrior = Soldier
etc. etc.
With all the item collecting and all that.
There is NO item collecting. This feels like a Shooter more than anything and a bad shooter at that. *sigh* I won't be picking those up.

I am also getting it - I am just tired of waiting...
I agree with Batman. The is may attitude towards spore as well. I'm just tired of hearing about it. Just give me the damn game!
The only reason I went WOW about this post was because of the lunchbox I just can't decide what system to get it for!

Ok for those of you that played during the AO launch you remember HOW BAD it was. It was HORRIBLE, DREADFUL, and lots of other really bad words.
But you know what they never did? A CHARACTER WIPE.
Does anyone else agree that with hellgate recently doing this it can be considered the worst pseudo-mmo launch in history?

How dare you people be upset that we are using Massive's spyware system. We are only putting this in the game to make the experience MORE REALISTIC FOR YOU!
What did you want us to do? Ask companies if we could advertise their product in the game?! It's easier if we go through this service! Get a Grip!
Oh and if we happen to ALSO make money off of this it's totally coincidental so we aren't going to give you any money off the game/exp packs/or subscription fees.

*The planned in-game ads don't bother me as much in ET as what EA planned on doing/did with BF2142 with installing malware on your pc to monitor where you lived, what you looked at, how long and such. And the notice about the malware for BF2142 was placed inside the box, so if you didn't want them installing this crap on your pc you couldn't return the game because it was already opened. *
They are using the same company as EA. The companies name is MASSIVE. Why do you think it's different?

I made a thread on the FSS forums called $9.99 makes me lose interest *sigh* and I argued with a few people about why Hell Gate is Guild Wars and the monthly fees are greed.
I stopped arguing realizing what I was saying was getting nowhere, but I came back to the forums a month or so later just to see what was happening.
My thread turned into 28 pages! It was eventually locked by an admin.
I think systems like this will split the community. And will lead to me playing the free alternatives that I can enjoy with everyone. Or not playing games at all if it keeps going this way.
