1. that alpha black video Jan 19, 2004, 22:27 [AIX]Hood

I think there should be a rule against posting stuff about alpha black videos that

1. Drop dead boring.
2. Have no audio.
3. Are exclusive when no one else would want to mirror them anyway.

In other news, 30 different game companies came together to announce that they were implementing the Valve Software network security model.

Well, even though the graphics and AI were twitchy at times, it was the #1 seller for at least a few months. I think the most important part of this news item is that even non unreal and quake 3 engine games can and are being ported to the Mac. I'm not sure why those Haitian protesters aren't on this though. Can you name another game other than GTA where the sole purpose is to kill as many black people as possible using various vehicle and weapon platforms?

They better cut it out before Steve Jobs starts calling the Mac the ultimate game playing platform again. We all know what that lead to... Microsoft buying the Master Chief.

The real question being, with a wet noodle or a dry one? Concerning OMF, it's looking rather good. Looking forward to the demo.

Same old video. I still really don't like the strange smoke trail that they have coming out of the submachine gun or whatever that is. It looks very out of place with the rest of the animation.

1. It's 5 years old already, almost 6. Can't afford $140 bucks in that long a period of time for the upgrade?
2. Blame Sun.

BTW, Microsoft just officially announced the end of support for Windows 98 today, so those who are still using it, it's pretty much a dead end at this point. I seriously doubt new drivers will come out for it as Microsoft was forced to close it due to a court order.

13. That's nothing... Dec 4, 2003, 15:29 [AIX]Hood

That's nothing. The AIX Gaming and File Rush merger caused over 1000 layoffs and cost tax payers over a billion dollars. But alas, like that fiasco, we'll weather this one as well. The real question is, will I be charge a Fileplanet download fee with IGN surcharge, or IGN sacrifice fee with Gamespy first born tax? And even more importantly, how will this affect my complimentary Maxim magazine subscription?

4. Re: Any other game delay pales in compar Dec 3, 2003, 12:53 [AIX]Hood

As I seem to remember, Sin was the first game on the PC to feature a helicopter mounted minigun that you used to shoot the bank robbers on the roof in the demo. I have the fond memory of saying "well you don't see that every day.

That's unfortunate. I spent endless hours playing Sin multiplayer on the local lan, and specifically got a second voodoo2 card so it would run well.

Blue is just making up Invisible War headlines to see how many times the posters will generate exactly the same thread

With the incredible turn-out of people showing interest in this game when the demo came out, it would be a crime not to cover the game significantly, regardless of whether people are responding positively.
