I was in the beta for a long time. It was a lot of fun, but I don't think I'd want to pay each month for it.
The physics, the explosions, and the presentation are all done very well. There's plenty of quests and crafting out there as well. It just didn't "grab" me. I think it'll be a niche game and will do "ok", but not spectacular.

Yes, some people are that crazy. I assume he was on a public TS or Vent server for the voice chat.
On a side note, that was DAoC, not WoW. The guy making the video was wrong. (still kinda funny.)

Due to my nework setup, the filesharing aspect of the auto patcher doesn't work well. I let the auto patcher run for 1.5 hours while I did some yardwork, still was only 75% done or so. While grilling dinner I hit fileshack and had the patch in 8 minutes or so (including a 5 minute wait to start).

Main modifications and fixes
FM and aircraft performance
1. Corrected take off acceleration of the carrier based aircraft. Now it is
easier to take off with the fully loaded aircraft.
2. Tuned maximal speed of F2A.
Other improvements:
In the new il2core and il2core_P4 DLLs, included in this patch, released the
fixes of some glitches on ATI cards.
Video Driver Compatibility
NOTE: This only applies to users utilizing our highest graphic settings
(Perfect).
Recommended drivers versions for ATI cards
Unfortunately, we can't "fix" all internal problems of card drivers, so we may
suggest the following for ATI card users:
In case of problems we recommend to use the old version 4.1 (except for using
the X800 series cards, which have own drivers.)
NOTE: Please be sure to set proper default settings of graphics card from the
list in the setup program and don't set any decreasing quality settings. These
options we recommend to use only in case of known problems with specific card,
which may help to identify or partially solve possible problem. Please be sure
that the default settings for each video card in the list in the setup program
are the best.

I mentioned it a couple days ago, but every few times I come to visit here java fires up as the main page is loading. Then the fist link I click on produces an Ad. I'll try and reproduce to give more details.

Anyone else with a Radeon have the single player game lockup on them? Seems to be a video issue, but the odd thing is that multiplayer works great. I'd like to pick up this expasion, but not if I'm not going to be able to play through it.

If it's got actual AI in it, it beats the only other Paintball game I know of. Extreme Paintbrawl!
