Interestingly, a few months ago, my wife came upon a shrink-wrapped Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS at Goodwill. It has bundled some pretty awesome games: Jedi Knight Academy, Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness, Rainbow Six 3, Splinter Cell, and the original Halo. So, I may get around to it at some point.

There are no settings in games for 'gamepad only' players as far as I know. So anyone using a controller is going to be at a serious disadvantage in MP games.

If I remember, most FPS MP games tend to give controller players a basic autoaim to help against mouse/keyboard players.

The irony is that anytime a person uses steam in the first place they're using Always on DRM.
