The enemies look so slow and not challenging at all. I really hope what they're showing is a tiny fraction of what the final game has to offer.
Hard Reset was good, although it had a lot of missed opportunities. They have the tech nailed down. Honestly, I can't think of another developer who can squeeze so much out of their own engine without creating another glitchfest. Their environmental artists are great. Everything looks beautiful and runs flawlessly. My top concern with Shadow Warrior is they are making another game that looks good, is technically flawless, but gameplay is shallow and predictable. Like something is reigning in what should be a new classic. |

It makes sense when the game is self published and the only other source of funding is out of their own pockets. If you don't understand that then simply don't buy it.
Although it is a helluva lot for even a kickstarter reward tier. |

| There's a reason why Road Warrior has a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and is consistently voted among the top movies ever made. |

Perhaps the lesson learned here is to never enter a gaming business deal with a person who has had more lawsuits than shipped games. Zing! Ironically, 3D Realms was sued only once by Take Two for not finishing DNF on time. This year alone Gearbox is facing at least two separate lawsuits. |

Really?????? DLC for this? Damn I'm drunk - seeing things obviously. They've been releasing multiplayer map packs nobody can play because the playerbase is so small (around 100-200 at peak hours worldwide) the forced local matchmaking has you waiting for hours to get into a game. It's hilariously broken. |

They are showing the pre-alpha demo behind closed doors at E3.
Some points: American actors or little connection to Australia? About half on foot and half vehicle combat. Take downs (yuck). Car combat sounds similar to Outlander (awesome Sega Genesis and SNES game that was originally a Mad Max game before the license fell through). Lots of violence. Somekinda new physics system for vehicle damage. Overall sounds like a "gritty Just Cause" which I'm fine with if it's fun and doesn't shit all over the movies.
Just don't be another Aliens Colonial Marines. |

Also, the game and the movie are independent of each other. Although the game has elements of the movie such as the marauders, the new Interceptor design, and other things. |

You're just hoping it doesn't tarnish your username and make you rethink everything you knew. Don't lie. After Beyond Thunderdome and the terrible Mad Max NES game they'd have to try to make it worse. |

| The concept, the cars, and the drop-in style gameplay looks cool. However the driving seems a little too Cruisin' USA for my taste. A great game in its own right but I'm not 13 anymore. Will definitely keep an eye on it. |

It's the amount of data, in bytes, that the US government collects on its own citizens each and every day without any justification. A rough estimate would be 1 ObamaByte = 10 Petabytes.
Creston The term they invented is "yottabyte".
byte = 1 byte kilobyte = 1000 bytes megabyte = 1000 kilobytes gigabyte = 1000 megabytes megabyte = 1000 gigabytes terabyte = 1000 megabytes petabyte = 1000 terabytes exabyte = 1000 petabytes zettabyte = 1000 exabytes yottabyte = 1000 zettabytes
Let's put that in perspective. The amount of data they are collecting is the equivalent of a tower of iPods stacked so high it passes the Moon. It's enough data that if you converted it all to 1 terabyte hard drives it would be enough to bury a million city blocks.
The size and power of what they are doing is something most people can't comprehend. Spying isn't new, but the way they are doing it and the ease of access is historic. This is Deus Ex kinda stuff. |

I'm glad people are finally more aware of this. If the media had any integrity they'd be focused on the massive secret data center that just opened in Utah. People can cry about Bush and the Patriot Act all they want but the fact is they were never intented to listen in on all Americans (although it stupidly left the door open) and the technical capability wasn't there. Under Obama our government went through that door and is currently running the largest data mining center in the world. They have to invent new terms for how much raw data is being collected.
The best part is Obama was nominated and elected president by running against this very thing. Our government is crumbling. With all these scandals the actual good work the NSA and IRS are intended will be cut off at the knees while they're investigated for years.

Obama's hypocrisy pisses people off more than the act of spying on us it seems.
Just like the IRS this will be used in the wrong way. |
