They still call it an RPG? I dont. Nothing role playey about it to me. But thats because it doesnt follow "my" expectations of classic RPG style. It can obviously be argued that since you make all sorts of character decisions during discussions only that its RPG.

What have we learned from the various moon landings vs what we've learned from V'ger Voyager?

Lol. Nice reference there.

It only resets that info when you tell it to. So thats your total usage since you have began using it. I still dont see what the fuss is. 2-3gb a month on a iphone is INSANE if you use that much. You have to be some kind of downloading and uploading psycho to pull it off.

I cant speak for the iPad since I dont own one. I still dont see that high of usage with an iPad either.

Yeah Mr. Pachter is right on one thing. It is the business's choice. Just as it ours not to support a company that supports such DRM. I don't think many of us gamers are opposed to DRM. We just don't want so dang intrusive and potentially unreliable. That's not much to ask for. Hell, its been done. Whats the problem again?

Awesome, but I hope it goes back to the roots of Shogun, and not just the setting. Get rid of all this overly complicated crap that's infested all the TWs since. Spies here, missionaries there, ambassadors there, ninjas here, counter-spies there, etc etc etc. Ugh. Let me build armies and fight.

Creston

Totally with you on that one man!

Right, like they care about PC gaming anymore NIN. Its all about the mobile and console market, that's where the bucks are. AS for PC gaming it is fucking gone. Just look at the sales numbers of games like Bad Company 2.

100 to 1 Console sales vs. PC> Its over man, game fucking over.

If the next console happens to have a keyboard and mouse, goodbye PC and why they haven't done this earlier is beyond me.

If I recall, a couple of consoles support kb and mouse. It just never took off.

I dont think PC gaming will ever entirely disapear until the need to develop anything is no longer needed to be done on a "Personal Computer". As long as geeks are using high end machines of some kind, to develop all these programs and games for anything.. a PC will always exist, and I would guess many of those users would drive a smaller PC game market. Im just making wild assumptions of the future though. Anything could happen.

Yes Rome 2 or some WW1 game, but 1908 I don't think was during WW1 (1914, too lazy to look it up).

Sick of this series really. The last two installments blew ass for some reason but Rome was by far their pinnacle moment in the total war series.

I agree with you. I picked up Shogun back when it was fairly new and was hooked ever since. But Empire failed to capture me, and then after trying again on three other separate occasions there was a new bug that made lots of things go invisible so the game was unplayable. Suffice to say I was not at all interested in Napoleon.

Not a fan of the point system either. Im not what the psychologists were thinking of. Cause when I see points.. on a console, or pc, used in any way to make a PURCHASE of something, in which I had to spend money to get those points to begin with... makes me feel like I just spent money or I will be spending money.

Points blow.
