Yeah. Insta-fail in my book as well. I am now looking more forward to Grim Dawn (not that I wasn't looking forward to it in the first place). This news did make my deciding factor in not buying the game.
I wish they would at least offer a never online version at least. I can give two ***** about playing this game online. I just like a good SP hack n slash. |

| Well I dunno if its coincidence or not. I was getting constant crashes in games and iTunes. I updated to these drivers and am yet to have a crash again. =\ |

Were it not for the fact that Origin is only EA's stuff, in some ways I prefer it to Steam, and mostly for reasons the publishers don't like. I'm not getting the panties in a bunch either. Don't want the EA exclusive extras on a title THEY publish? Buy it from Steam end of problem.
It also always amazes me how up in arms people get about DRM here, yet praise Steam which is laden with DRM of it's own like it's the best thing since sliced bread. Gamers are fickle.
Personally I flip out on DRM thats intrusive. I don't find Steams DRM "Intrusive". I do find other games that insist on still having their DRM in place on top of steams DRM very annoying though. |
