Man Vampire - Bloodlines would make a kick ass free-form multiplayer RPG.
Never going to happen with source. Everyone has to be in the same map at the same time unless you have diffrent servers running diffrent maps.

The editor is better. Unless you are expecting something simple to use, which it is but not compaired to the first toolset.
The diffence is like going from Starcraft Editor to Warcraft 3 Editor.

You won't be able to play any of the main characters at all. They are doing this to avoid the "500 wolverines and spiderman" scernio, but personally I think they'd do better to structure the game to have a logon where you could specify which characters you'd want to play, and then it would look for a server where that character was currently a bot and allow you to take over that character.
Nice idea but it just wouldn't work online. To many, kekekekeke u fagz wtfbbqrolfcopter people would take control and act like utter dicks.

I have only played HoMM5 for about 2 hours since getting it due to there being no map editor. I am so glad this patch is out.

Since installing theses drivers the winlogon process steals all the CPU power every 2 seconds, unless I disable the new control panel.
I have rolled back to last version of the drivers before they changed the control panel.

Well, The Guild is one of my fav games. It really took me by surprise and its hard to sum up the whole game.

Read between the lines:
No 40 man raids released with the Expansion.
Then
Only 40 Man raid content after the Expansion.
I too are also glad I quit. I was bored out of my skull then Blizzard announced the Alliance Shamans, after confirming this was true I hit the cancel account button.
Its not really the change as such but the complete lack of imagination into explaining the change, effort in trying to balance Paladins and Shamans in raids and lastly after a year of telling us that they would never give horde Paladins or alliance Shamans, they come out and say its been planned since the beta.

In my case I know my stats aren't there. Something crashed the game just as I finished, same happened with Half-life 2: Episode 1. My guess it was my firewall warning about the stats being uploaded.

I would like to point out a few things.
In New Zealand:
Kiwi's don't wear blue trainers, they are brown and have very long beaks.
We don't attack native flightless birds with bows / arrows, laser guns or guided missiles.
There are no flying rocks that people use for transportation.
This game must have been inspired by a Japanese tourist trip that experienced some of the hydroponic grown flora.

I don't think a mod would steal thunder from a brand new game.
It would be like saying that Desert Combat is going to hurt Battlefield 2.
I think some of the people involved have mouths as big as there ego's.
I know the DLA team are saying they were close to release, but I also remeber them saying that 4 years ago. I just gave up waiting for thier content and canned all my Dragon Lance based modules for my own Universe. Then WoW came out and that was the end of that ( two modules later ).

I am looking forward to Star Trek Legacy as well.
Just theres more to Star Trek than just ships blowing the crap out of each other. Give us some planets to explorer as well. Even if its as boring as Derek Smarts planets, its got to be better than nothing.

I really liked SiN Episodes. More so than Fear and its taken about the same time to complete.
In fact I haven't finished SiN Episodes yet and this is mainly because the difficulty has ramped it self up to being a challenge for once. For the first time in ages I have to play this game with tactics using the entire environment to defeat my enemies. Instead of pointing and clicking. Still the AI doesn't do anything outstanding, its just brute force attacks with 3 - 4 of those heavys with mini guns but I like it.
Also the game has around 13 levels which is alot more than I expected for the price.
The only thing that disappoints me is that Blade has lost his wisecracks and has become a near dumb mute like that retard Gordon Freeman. At least he does still speak, but bring back his insults.

If they publish the game on Steam then EA will be doing the Boxed version of the game.
So I am not sure how supporting them will stop EA ruling.
