Same trailer with worse quality, but oh well. The game still looks awesome, and is one of the very few games I have on my "GIMMMMMMMEEEEE!" list.

Creston I hereby claim this as 'MY GAME' you got X3, this one is mine

a return to the older style of character customization, etc.

The character customization in SR3 was pretty awesome, imo. What was different about it in the older games?

Creston

The older games let you customize way more aspects of your character, you could mix and match items more freely and there was a shit ton of items/outfits to find and buy. There was a fair amount of custom music to buy in-game for the radio too. I'll have to make a video of it later for you, I still have my old SR2 copy laying around.

Sounds cool. I played SR1 for a few minutes at a friend's house, and got turned off by the terrible driving. Then when he showed me SR2, he showed me the "spray shit all over people's houses" side-mission and I just shook my head and moved on. I thought about going back and playing it when I heard so many people rave about it, but the terrible PC port turned me off.

I quite enjoyed SR3, but it really needed a far more involved storyline.

They're shipping a game for $10 or more. I don't see how that's any different than most other kickstarters.

Oh FFS! Maybe I should do a KS that allows me to move to France and buy a winery in Bordeaux. I promise you'll get a bottle of wine in 3-5 years.

That would actually be permissible under Kickstarter rules, as far as I can tell.

This is a clear violation of KS's "No tuition" rule, and has been said below, KS really needs to start following its own fucking guidelines. But it seems all KS can think about anymore is that 3% (5%?) they get off every succesful project.

Furthermore, the woman saying that she's going to not use the funds for what she said she would is an even more blatant violation of the rules. KS should just man up and take this thing down.

All the other crap is just standard internet bullshit.

4. How people would really use time travel Mar 27, 2013, 11:47 Creston

Twiki Stephen Hawking said it best: "Time travel will never be possible, because if it would be possible, we would be overrun by tourists from the future."

That's how it would be used. Things like the signing of the Declaration of Independence would be a fucking madhouse, with 900,000,000 tards with their iPads all trying to get video to put on Youtube. (One of you say hi to Connor for us!)

The game is mission wise the same length as Saints Row 3, plus other open worlds on top of it.

That actually doesn't fill me with much happiness. SR3's missions were over WAAAAAY too quickly, and you absolutely rushed through the storyline if you just did them one after the other. You basically destroy the Syndicate one day after arriving in Steelport... Really the only gang that you take some time in wiping out are the hackers.

As for the server closures, it makes sense that you turn underpopulated servers into well-populated servers, but how exactly does this give the Asian players the "best play experience?" I guess the Force is stronger than latency?

You don't finish Anno. You do the tutorials/deeper ocean missions and then you have fun in the continuous game!

I should have probably said "Until I get tired of the people in Anno whining at me that they want Yet More Crap."

(though I do recommend using a calculator such as http://anno2070.atspace.eu/ ).

Cool, thanks!

If you're going to wait for the sales though try and avoid any spoilers or indepth reviews.

I'm not reading any reviews, and most people at Blues are pretty good at not revealing (much of) anything.

Thanks Ray!

I gotta admit, I was going to skip this, but people are making it sound really awesome. I'll have to pick this up when I have some time. First I gotta finish Anno, Tropico 4 and Sleeping Dogs. And then I think Shadowrun will be out... This may become a Christmas Steam Sale title...

I'm 99% sure that the ultimate vault hunter pack is not the 4th advertised dlc, even though it is included in the season pass. (I think its sorta an 'extra' bonus)

This article seems to confirm that:

I stand corrected.

So are the enemies roaming free through the levels? Or are they static and tied to a location?
Even in open world games I think it is pretty rare to see that, at least I do not remember seeing that in any games I play.
They usually just paroling or moving around a predefined pattern they do not wonder off around the level.
Did you see that in any games Creston?

It's hard to explain what I'm really getting at. One of the things that I loved about the original Bioshock is that all enemies were just roaming throughout the level, minus a few scripted ones. You could run into a new group of splicers basically anywhere, and of course the Big Daddies roamed wherever.

From the trailers, it seemed as if Infinite just had static enemies that wouldn't actively engage until you got to their area.

You'll encounter the same amount of enemies but other than that it's just dynamic AI as you know it from most non-COD-kinda FPS games.

You played Bioshock 1 and 2? It's basically like that.

So are the enemies roaming free through the levels? Or are they static and tied to a location?

Speaking only for myself, the reason I like the Irish is because:

A) The girls can really only be classified as savagely horny.
B) They make really great booze.

And again, you seem to believe that the ability to write off literally everything and anything under the sun disappears once your company reaches a certain size, no matter what the actual tax laws say.

We've already had this discussion, so go right ahead believing what you want to believe, but quit it with your pathetic little snipes.
