Same trailer with worse quality, but oh well. The game still looks awesome, and is one of the very few games I have on my "GIMMMMMMMEEEEE!" list.

(though I do recommend using a calculator such as http://anno2070.atspace.eu/ ). Cool, thanks!
If you're going to wait for the sales though try and avoid any spoilers or indepth reviews. I'm not reading any reviews, and most people at Blues are pretty good at not revealing (much of) anything.

Thanks Ray!
I gotta admit, I was going to skip this, but people are making it sound really awesome. I'll have to pick this up when I have some time. First I gotta finish Anno, Tropico 4 and Sleeping Dogs. And then I think Shadowrun will be out... This may become a Christmas Steam Sale title...

Even in open world games I think it is pretty rare to see that, at least I do not remember seeing that in any games I play. They usually just paroling or moving around a predefined pattern they do not wonder off around the level. Did you see that in any games Creston? It's hard to explain what I'm really getting at. One of the things that I loved about the original Bioshock is that all enemies were just roaming throughout the level, minus a few scripted ones. You could run into a new group of splicers basically anywhere, and of course the Big Daddies roamed wherever.
From the trailers, it seemed as if Infinite just had static enemies that wouldn't actively engage until you got to their area.

You played Bioshock 1 and 2? It's basically like that. So are the enemies roaming free through the levels? Or are they static and tied to a location?

And again, you seem to believe that the ability to write off literally everything and anything under the sun disappears once your company reaches a certain size, no matter what the actual tax laws say.
We've already had this discussion, so go right ahead believing what you want to believe, but quit it with your pathetic little snipes.

I don't know what it is about this board, but people seem to love claiming that losses are losses and what you describe is absolutely impossible, no matter what every CPA in the US says.

Hard vs Easy... For me it really depends on the game. If it's a game where there is a progression towards really achieving something, I tend to turn it to hard or activate restrictions, if possible, to make it more difficult, so that the achievement really feels like it meant something.
For example, I'm one of the people that grinded through the hardest difficulty on X2 (which starts you off with a ship with nothing in it, 5 tons of cargo space, and 50 credits), and suffered through the 30-40 minute flight times (since I had no time dilation device) between sectors and stations because once I finally built up my empire, it really felt cool to know that I began with nothing.
Also, with Anno 2070, on my way to building my ultimate Eden megalopolis, I deliberately started with 10K credits, then built/sold for loss enough times to get my money down to 1000 credits, and built from there. It just felt more cool that way. (to me anyway.)
However, if it's a game where there's no sense of achievement, and all I'm doing is playing it for the story, or just because I want to play through it once so I can scratch it off my list, then I'll just start it on normal. Dragon Age 2 was a good example. A lot of people said that Nightmare was a real challenge, and about the only way to make the combats "fun."
I sat through about three battles where invisible, teleporting rogues slaughtered my mages without me being able to do anything about it, and I dropped the combat back to normal, and every time a battle happened, I just sat for a few minutes, watched my guys slaughter everything on screen without too much difficulty, then continued the story.
And as for what that does to your "gamer cred", what the fuck ever.

So to those who have played it: how scripted is it? Obviously once a battle is going, the AI is going to do different things (or at least I hope it does), but is everything in between as scripted and on-rails as it appeared from the trailers?
To illustrate, if you entered an area and a combat ensued, if you reloaded to the previous checkpoint (fuck checkpoints, btw,) would the battle start up again in the exact same fashion?

That bit.ly tip is pretty handy. I've often refused to follow a bit.ly link from someone I don't know, so it's a cool way of being able to check out where it's going to take you.

So to reiterate:
The Ultimate Vault Hunter pack WILL be included with the season pass (and is presumably DLC 4.)
The new character will NOT be included with the season pass.
Correct?
It'll be a lot cheaper to just buy both of those individually, then.
