MS doesn't slams Starforce.
As far as I know, you get the same message with every unsigned driver which tries to install itself into certain parts of the system.

Our family always had (and still have) cats. While it's only natural that they die sometime, you'll never get used to it. It's allways a big loss.
The best way to get over it? Go to the animal shelter and get TWO cats.

1. Pacific Storm FYI Sep 8, 2006, 03:20 Buckermann

The release version, even though itís the last CDV game plagued by the nefarious Starforce protection system, will be a focus of discussion by gamers for a long time.

Too bad. I was really looking forward for this one.

I found it. It is spread over 5 pages, each having around 10 sentences. And a few advertisements of course
Junk.

Well, it may sound dull to you (and me), but I'll bet all the money I have that some people will find this extremly exciting.

1. Youth Violence Waaaay Down - Games to Bl Jul 20, 2006, 10:01 Buckermann

Of course not! This is only the effect of the work of concerned politicians, religious leaders and heroic individuals , like our beloved Mr. Thompson. Clearly, without these people the kids would have killed us all by now. ALL OF US!

"Banned" means in Germany that the game is not rated by the USK. This means it can only be sold to 18+ years old and that no public advertising is allowed.
Technically speaking it isn't really banned, but the effect is probably the same.

According to the website the release termin is summer 2006. I hope it's a worthy successor to the original UFO:ET. A demo would be nice.

The source for the Inquirer article is "WE HEARD from more than one person...". Well, that's not really a reliable source in my books.
It is possible that Nvidia dosen't want to support "a certain players [sic]" with its chips, but I fail to see how that is wrong from Nvidias point of view, or unethical.

It's Google's email service! How does and inadvertant deletion on their servers not make them responsible?

Pretty tame bunch of booth babes this year. Pity.

Good. I like a nice pair of... eyes just as much as everybody else, but the E3 should be about new technology and games.
If I want scantily clad women, I can find them within seconds on google.

Edit: Spelling.

Furthermore, gravimetric distortions travel, I presume, at the speed of light?

Probably. Look here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_of_gravity

And now for something completly different.
I don't think it is nice to make fun of Kootur. He's obviously something "special". And your Mom should have told you that it's not nice to make fun of people with mental disabilities.
