It does not make any sense.

So old games will not be compatible? And you can not use your Xbox as a dvd or bluray player? Really? Sounds stupid to me.

This might offend some, and I am a southerner, it kinda offends me. But throwing in chunks of chicken breasts into chilli, along with the beef, it is just damn tasty.

Ehh, whatever.

I enjoyed Rage. Was it great, no? Was the texture poping shitty? Yes! But to be fair, it was worse at the very start of the game for some reason. Yes, I started getting used to it. But if you load saves up from very start of game to further along at different parts of the levels and play with it, it clearly happens less. Were some textures just bad? Yes!

But over all the game looked really good to me, and felt of good movement which is key to me.

There was nothing revolutionary about it, and the ending was shitty. But it was good solid simple gameplay to me. Not every game has to reinvent a genre.

To each is own. But there is a lot of hating on ID just for the sake of hating on ID.

And yes, played on PC. And bought it on a steam sale for $19 or so.

She is not super hot, no. If you go to the second page, where she had longer hair and thinned down some, she was much better looking.

But the point is, she is/was also a cop. And male cops wanted to meet an attractive female cop. Not just that she is "attractive".

Silent Movie in a movie theater? I dunno. I know they are not actually silent, there is musical scores and ambiance. But a cell phone ringing during a "silent movie" would piss me off 1000 times more then in a normal movie. It would also probably ruin it more from me as well.

Also, I quote this from the article:

"“Oh no, another portal puzzle,” I said to myself as Chell entered test chamber 16."

Really? What do you want in a freakin PORTAL PUZZLE GAME! A car you can hijack and a hooker you can run over like in GTA?

That comment says it all how stupid the review is.

If you do not like portal puzzles or did not want to play a lot of them; DON'T! But the name of the damn game has PORTAL in it; there better be a lot of portal puzzles in the game.

That comment actually just pisses me off. It is probably one of the stupidest comments I have ever read in a game review, and that says a lot!

1. Portal 2 review Feb 16, 2012, 12:22 Enahs

I have to say, that Portal 2 review is just horrible.

I grant the fact that everybody is allowed to have difference of opinions about what they like and do not like; but he tries to hard to justify his opinion and in my opinion his justification are just flat wrong.

I mean, if you really boil down the article it was "the puzzles got to hard and to much of them".

Well duh, it is a puzzle game. Nobody but him wants them to be easy and be done with it quickly. That would be like tetris ending after you make 5 lines. Whats the point? So he just wants a really big room with lots of different surfaces that he can play and jump around on like a little kid on a playground.

I would also say, that in fact, my biggest complaint is that the puzzles were just TOO damn easy; opposite of this review.

Now off the top of my head. But I suspect that if you contact the Texas Department of State Health Services or Texas Health Assessment and Toxicology Program they might help you.

Not, I know from experience that Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia all do this. So I am just inferring from the fact that of those states are the only states I have been involved in their "State Health Lab", and they all performed these analysis. I could be totally wrong, but there is so much government extra funding to these programs to check for those things in the water supply system; and it is literally only software and data analysis changes and throwing in a few more internal standards.

No worries, thanks for the tips. I'm pretty sure it's the EPA. Actually funding has been cut since 2001 and most federal agencies can't do their job. Of course, this is intentional. How else could they convince the uneducated public, government agencies are useless and need to be privatized.

As Sepharo pointed out, that was horribly typed. But I blame auto correct on my phone!

While it is true that a lot of the funding you speak of has been cut; local state health agencies have adapted.

Again, through the experience of just the state laboratories I have had experience with; they have found ways to include everything that might have been cut from other agencies under the auspices of anti-terrorism funding and such. Much of the things before 2001 that were funded by the EPA to check for in the state of Arkansas were quickly brought under the funding of the CDC and Home Land Security funding.

The things they keep an eye on has gone up, tremendously. Just under different funding is all.

Ahh, didn't know..could have sworn they only test for lead, arsenic and ...(doh, a third I'm drawing a blank atm). Any idea where I can get the measurements for Texas in regards to fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, and household chemicals?

Edit: Me personally, I blame the toxic water (water standards in the US don't test for house hold chemicals or pharmaceuticals), toxic air and food supply (most meats, cheeses and milks are full of steroid and antibiotics).

Pretty much every state checks for those "house hold chemicals" and pharmaceuticals, etc, in the water supply; before processing (in the lakes and water reserves, etc).

Science if full of approximations and limitations. I am a scientists. I do not believe the earth is flat. But, over a small enough range, for piratical purposes the earth can be treated as flat. We make simplifications all the time in science.

I have no real point here, I am just saying; I can say the earth is flat and depending on my perspective and application I am correct within acceptable tolerance.

I love how people will use a paper towel to open the bathroom door, then sit back at their desk that has never been cleaned or dusted, and happily type away on their 3 year old keyboard that very likely has five different kinds of staph bacteria on it.

Creston

Yes. But unless other people are using my keyboard or running their penis over my keyboard; it is different.

When your hand touches your penis then the door handle and I touch the door handle, there is transfer of your penis germs to by hand!

Germs, and penis germs are different things. Come on!

It only makes sense to use a paper towel. Everybody does not wash their hands. And even if they did, it will still be germy there.

News Comments > Microsoft Dropping MS Points?
7. Re: Microsoft Dropping MS Points? Jan 24, 2012, 11:16 Enahs

I am not sure they should change it. It was a smart financial decision for them to do that, ignoring anybody that might avoid the system because of the points. And it is now an even better financial decision with the changes and fees in the banking system.

Lets explain why.

Every transaction that is made via a CC or debit card, the bank(s) charage a fee. Lets pretend it is just 10 cents. So, if Microsoft were to charge $1 for a song, they lose 10% of the revenue from that purchase. Do that millions of times a day/week/etc, it adds up quickly.

Now, lets say you buy $10 worth of 'points', the banking fee is per transaction. Microsoft has now only lost 1% of revenue on that same transaction.

As you can imagine, this can QUICKLY add up to millions of dollars lost if you are doing a lot of business.

With the recent dramatic increases in fees for CC/Debit card transactions; this points system is even a bigger savings boom. Why throw it away now?

So I sent this video to Blue as a Media link and he did not post it.

It is the reason why I now am considering taking dance lessons! And I think you will all agree it is one of the best things about the internet (videos like these! heh)!

Might me NSFW, but it is not porn, but it is sensual.

Enjoy.
