3.) Possibly a new Clive Barker's Undying? Of course it would require a serious new enviroment. Castles and old style houses though it would be amazing in that.

it's nice to hear you say that. Undying was, imo, one of the most unappreciated games in recent years. granted, it wasn't jaw-droppingly amazing, but it was a hell of a great game with absolutely amazing environments. i played it all the way through in just a few weeks (which is good for me) and never got bored. the D3 engine would be perfect for this game. of course, it will never happen!

for a further D3 engine suggestion, how about Elite Force 3?? oh, oh... and what about Unreal3!!!

Wait, is you know who Halsy?

gotta be... and people do resort to silly immature attacks on him when they cannot compete with his vast store of "facts". however, Halsy brings a lot of it on himself by being wildly polarized and insulting the intelligence of anyone who disagrees with him. he's like an uber-liberal version of Rush Limbaugh... just as smart, just as rude and opinionated... but on the opposite side of politics...

i prefer to watch both sides do as they see fit, while hoping neither side gains too much control. way i see it, we need 'em both!

unaloony-

try reading "The Singing Sword" and subsequent books in the series by Jack Whyte. it starts the arthur myth at his grandfather and keeps everything grounded firmly in reality. the books have decent plots, great writing, and lots of sex and violence.

19. helps me somebody! Jul 9, 2004, 14:34 tron

okay, here's an odd problem. i have a GeForce 5600 Ultra... i recently upgraded to the newest drivers. after doing so, i reset my resolution, color depth, etc... here's the problem: my mouse pointer goes off the right side of the screen. the screen fits in the monitor just right, and maximizing a window fills the entire screen nicely. the pointer stops at the top, bottom, and left sides of the screen - as it should. however, if i move the mouse beyond the boundry of the right side of the screen, the pointer disappears. the farther i move it to the right, the more i have to drag it left to see the pointer again.

anybody have any ideas??

the amount of R&D being spent behind one man

yeah, but it'll benefit everyone in the sport. the research is for cycling, not just Lance... but they'll use his name and image to promote the new experimental stuff they develop, because people will focus on and recognize a winner... i do agree with your comment that it would be cool if they all had to race using the same equipment, but that would be a bit much and everyone would bitch about having to conform and not being able to try new things... so instead they develop guidlines and specs that need to be met.

remember, *somebody* has to be at the top, and Lance started off at the bottom just like everyone else...

the amount of money listed on that page is pretty small... just $5,500 when you add it up (admittedly, there is no price tag on 2 of the items - the jersey and the wheels) - but $5,500 is nothing really. how much money have you put into your PC, wiwi jumbo?? i figure that if you are a pro cyclist and you can't afford that much - you better go save up for a while then try again. hell, i have about $900 invested in my bike, and i've never raced, it's just for fun... and i'm broke!!

when you have that nice of a snack, can you really be blamed for giving up a part of your soul to fascism

tempt me not, foul creature! every time someone eats a fruit-roll-up a hundred third-world children are condemned to 50 hours of no-pay slave-labor!

that aside, the above ray quote, taken out of context, has got to be one of the funniest things i've read in a while!

Which is better, pop-tarts or fruit-roll-ups?

you ask me to choose between delicious fruity frosted pastry and a roll of sticky plastic chewy blah??? how dare you, sir!

it's obvious that throughout most of the 20th century pop-tarts are eaten by those who love one another and do no evil in the world, while fruit roll-ups are only consumed by big-industry bigots who kill the innocent for blood-stained cash while sitting on a pile of whores and plotting the desmise of everyone who even looks at pop-tarts with mild interest. and those are the FACTS baby - say anything different and you're brain-dead ignorant pathetic excuse for a brain-washed loser who only follows what the evil liars of the fruit roll-up regime want them to do and say. yeah...

America means people have the RIGHT to disagree. Don't like it? Then you don't belong here.

LOL!!! is it just me, or does this sentance say: "We have the RIGHT to DISAGREE, *but* - if you DISAGREE with ME, then GET OUT!"

halsay - you are entertaining if nothing else!
