The 'Online Pass' just adds insult to injury.
I had this all preordered and was looking forward to playing it but after these two 'gems' of info I think I will be passing.
If I do play it, it will be a used copy. It's "incomplete"?
You didn't even fucking know it had co-op until yesterday. Jesus christ. Why would you preorder it if it didn't have co-op, when it appears that co-op is so important to you that you would cancel knowing it's coming a month later? Seeing as how I assumed it did have coop on release, until yesterday. That explains why I preordered it. Also, it explains why yesterday I decided not to preorder it anymore.
Seemed simple enough to me. |

The open world asp[ects of SWG were quite spectacular for the time. Was fun to see gameplay that didn't revolve exclusively around 'whack-a-mole' quests. It let you play how you wanted. Merchant/Healer/Entertainer as well as the usual 'whack-a-molers'. The one area where SWG failed at the start was lack of story content. SOE could have done some awesome things that could have expanded the Star Wars universe, but for some reason left it mostly untouched.
Once Holocron grind started, that was beginning of the end. The revamp after that pretty much killed it for me. Haven't been back since. Might show up for a month just to see the universe end. |

I find it a bit ironic that they are willing to spend time and effort for less than 10% of their player base (that is way more than it is) but they don't try and fix or address things that affect a much larger %.......
They are morons. It's not really about fixing anything for anyone. It's just Activision's way of trying to say...'see we're not completely evil'. |

Do you really think Walmart would just give all that easy video game money away to Gamestop and Best Buy?
I didn't think so. |

Jerykk wrote on Feb 15, 2011, 00:00: The new costume looks terrible. The comics have tried to revamp Spider-Man's costume many times over the years and they always end up going back to the original. Why? Because it's the best one and doesn't need to be changed. Color me confused.
How is exactly does it look terrible, with respect to the comic design?
Its red. Its blue. It has the black webbing. It has the mechanical web shooters. It has the black Spider Man logo. It has the eyepieces which mask the eyes (goldish instead of black. no biggie there).
The only major departure from the comics design is the mesh/weave appearance that gives it more of an armor look and less like a spandex suit.
In essence it IS the traditional style suit. |

Well. Sucks to be a prisoner. Maybe if they want to continue playing D&D as free men maybe they should follow one small piece of advice:
QUIT BREAKING THE FREAKIN LAW MORONS!!!!
That is all. |
