The reason EA is under performing on the Wii has to do with two things. First the Wii is NOT a major sports platform. The majority of people that are sports players prefer the HD graphics of the 2 other consoles. Second, All-Play, the cute lil moniker given to last years Wii sports titles hasn't really worked. It seems to just make the games too easy.
I think this year if EA Sports goes the route of treating the Wii versions of the game like real sports games. Either by making All-Play a selectable option or just getting rid of it and utilizing the Wii-Motion Plus to its maximum they could do pretty well. |

Difference between paparrazi and a stalker?
a camera.
Woody, should have just claimed he thought the guy was a stalker pretending to be a paparrazo, hell of a lot smarter than saying zombie. |

| 3d is a gimmick and just like those other gimmicks of the past (sound/color) it will be accepted as mainstream when all the audience has to do is sit down and watch. No glasses. No goggles. No special devices. Just sit and watch. |

| One thing I find interesting in this debate is the one fact that very few people actually take a look at. That is, how many games would cease to be purchased if people couldn't trade or sell their games for some sort of cash/credit value? Everyone assumes that people ONLY buy used games with their trade in amounts. When in fact many people buy new, some in fact buy ONLY NEW games. So not only does the gaming industry benefit from the first sale. They are also benefitting from further sales of new products in development. Take away the trades/sales and you have to wonder how many people would be willing or able to purchase games at $60 a pop. |

Is it just me, or is there something fundamentally wrong with an article that talks all about art but then shows none of the works.
I hate that. |

Judging by some of the responses here we need a lil fact check, hey lets try the article....
The Royal Air Force (RAF) announced Saturday that pilots without full combat training will replace top guns in controlling unmanned Reaper planes in 'frontline missions' in Afghanistan as part of a plan to reduce costs. Notice...doesn't say gamers...says PILOTS without full combat training...so those knuckleheads going 'ohnoez lil johnny Xbox gonna blow someone up'...just read the article before posting.
So where does that gamer crap come from?....lets check the article....
It appears that RAF chiefs have based their claim on studies suggesting that the best drone crews are often young 'video-game players' rather than 'experienced fighter pilots'.
Now how does that tie to gamers? Usually most combat pilots have the most flight time which generally means they are older individuals. Many of which may not be part of the 'Xbox/PS2 Generation'. Inexperienced pilots tend to be younger and therefore more likely to be video gamers with better reflexes..blah blah blah. Therefore according to the world press' amazingly bizarre interpretation of the facts. We have 'gamers' flying predators. |

| Thats just sad about the bonuses. Those numbers should definitely be flipped the 110 people should get the 1 million and Boone should get the 325k. Take away those 110 people once and lets see what kind of great game just an idea/design can make. |

Home is the epitome of Sony thinking. "We will build and they will buy it"
Interesting, considering the fact that Home is free. In this case the 'it' may not refer to Home...but to the PS3 required to use it. |
