I was one of the suckers who bought the originally version of "Battlecruiser 3K" back in the 90's. Needless to say, I was... disappointed.
How's "Universal Combat"? |

I second that motion on Terra Nova. That was an awesome game.
Ahhh, I have such fond memories of playing Carrier Command for hours on my old Atari ST. |

| The Blizzcon store is showing tickets as "SOLD OUT". There is some confusion as to whether it really is sold out or they're just releasing them in batches to ease server load. |

The site is NOT fixed. As the person before me said, it was up for one or two minutes at most, and then crashed hard as everybody realized it was back up.
Apparently some tickets were sold before the server melted again.
If you go to the Blizzard shop page, you'll get the "Site is down for Maintenance" page (it's been down for almost an hour now).

Blizzard insisted on selling the tickets through the Blizzard Store site, which is slow and unstable on a normal day.
It's no surprise that the server died in a fire. As far as I can tell, NOBODY has actually managed to snag tickets due to site and XML errors. |

I was intrigued by Societies, but I heard that the reviews weren't all that great, in particular, it was fairly buggy.
Did EA fix the game yet? I've seen it in the Bargain Bin, and I'm tempted... |
