This definately goes on my *download* list, they fucked us we fucked them, end of story.
When exactly did Bungie steal from you?
I doubt you limit the games you download to the ones from companies you feel you've been fucked by.

I haven't played Halo before. I'll probably buy this if it turns out to be a good port like Splinter Cell, GTA3, and Vice City all are.

I'm going to Summer Sanitarium, but I"m not hardcore enough to let "exclusive content" justify a purchase.
My final decision will be made based on whether the gameplay is good, and we won't know that until 2005.

Some of the MMORPGs will offer the free trial download. Asheron's Call 2 had one. So did Earth & Beyond.
edit: Not to mention Anarchy Online.
Except with the above games you still had to go out and purchase the game when the trial ended.

I discovered that there was a conflict between the refresh rate program I was using, and the new NVIDIA drivers.
It seems that NVIDIA has fixed the problem as I can now override the default 60mhz to 85mhz in the display settings.

BF1942 is driving me crazy. Ever since I upgraded my drivers to 44.03, I can't run the game in anything above 60hz. I use refresh rate fix v2.1 E and changing the settings just make BF1942 crash to desktop immediately.
I downgraded my drivers to 40.71 and the same thing is happening now.
Why can't NVIDIA address the refresh rate problem with their drivers?

This reminds me of when I leave work each day. I have NO PROBLEM waiting on people in crosswalks. They have the right of way, at least around here. But across the street from where I work, people INSIST on jaywalking, when a crosswalk is less than a half block away. These people I DO NOT stop for, and have convinced a few I was about to run them the f$&* over.
This sounds EXACTLY like where I work, and my attitude towards it. Its disheartening to see this because everyone around here is pushed to be safety conscious and yet we still have people acting reckless.
