I don't have a favorable impression of this game. Looks like Irrational has a formula and they are just plugging in different values for the variables. You got the big daddy like character, you got plasmid like powers, and you got a political philosophy.
Too contrived and formulaic. |

Things I don't like? How do I tweak lower mouse speed than "very low." Speaking of which this is the first time I have played PC game where mouse speed is selected by choosing words like "very low, low" etc.
How do you change the fov?
How do you zoom out so that you aren't so close to the head of your player character?

You need more than 1 data point to be sure that eating late at night leads to your acid reflux. But then again experimenting on yourself might put you through a lot of pain.
Personally I would eat different things at night and see what happens. |

Arkham Asylum on the PC is one of the best pc to console ports.
To me Arkham Asylum and Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butch Bay are the two best movie/comic to PC game franchises. They are the golden standard as far as I'm concerned on how to do it right. |

Don't blame Blizzard for this - they're using a modern engine.
Blame all the people that refuse to leave Windows XP. In order to support XP Blizzard must leave out AA, as it doesn't work with modern engine techniques in DX9. Where are you getting this info from? How do you figure? |

equipped with state of the art weapons and armor I hate to nit pick (no I don't) but 10,000 years with virtually no technological progress is not "state of the art." End of my fluff comment. |

The haters are amusing.
Valve announces L4D2 and they go apeshit, freaking out about Valve selling out.
Valve works on EP3 for a few years, instead of rushing it out, they get slammed for being like 3D Realms.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
That's not that amusing. It's only amusing of the same exact individual hater freaked out over L4D2 and freaked out about EP3 as you described. |

| There is a market for onlive so I wouldn't say it's pointless. If you live close to the servers and/or you play games where lag is not much of an issue and your ocmputer is shitty, it's worth a try. |
