I can't think of a (PC) game that was worth my money from Microsoft... I mean, go Halo, Train Sim and all the defunct Madness Games or something...
Mechwarrior 3, DS, Monster Truck Madness anyone? Back when games were 34.99 and 5 dollars off the first week they were out, definatly worth my money.

Those screenshots are very reminicent of Total Annhilation.
The tanks and the smaller "mechs" look the same and I like the big spider thingy too! Also noticed that the foliage provides cover for the smaller combatants

I played the rfactor demo and loved the feel of the cars. Does anyone have any of the new Simbin games (GTR or Legends) and if so do they have a similiar "feel" to them as the rfactor demo?
I played the older Simbin FIA mods for nascar 2003 or was it F1 2001 can't remember at the moment, but I didn't really like the handling in those mods.
/just wanting a new racing game

Tom .... that is some of the most thoughtful racing advice that i've heard. After playing with the lfs demo and then the gpl2000 demo, you summed up mostly what took me weeks to learn.

what 17+ yr old doesn't know about headjobs and masterbates,c'mon a 17+ rating is good enough for cartoon sex. I'm more offended by the "f-word" in games than somebody secretly hiding sex in a game.
trying to play Riddick while a 13 yr old is next to ya is a little unnerving. The "surprise" of offending material meaning "bad language", is more offending than some hidden sex scenes in a game, the kids that have the knowledge to find these things probably already have "dirty" magazines under they're matresses anyway.

patch took my cpu usage down to zero. Now it won't run, I keep getting an "unable to set video mode" error.
* edit * switched to nvidia 77.76 beta from WHQL 77.72 drivers fixed the problem.

it's akin to a slow boil ... put a frog in a pot and slowly raise the temp and he won't notice so much, but throw him into a boiling pot and he'll jump out.
take your money a little at a time instead of a big lump of cash.
