Exactly. Just. Don't. Buy. This.

Someone mentioned rain and frogs. I also remember giant mosquitos?

Loved the original Thief(s)...obviously have big concerns about the dumbing down that may take place here.

Don't mind the bonus level for the pre-order...I won't be pre-ordering, but using that Thief 2 level is a smart idea.

I can't remember my exact mental state of when I was 12. Obviously, this game is not intended for "kids", and each parent needs to make a call on whether or not their kid is capable of handling the game...and by "handling", I mean they understand the content, and can understand that it's a ridiculous video game, and nothing more.

I dunno, I figure I probably could've handled this as a 12-year old, but obviously my parents may have had a different take on the situation. Kids nowadays get exposed to "stuff" way earlier than ever before thanks to friends and the internet. Tricky times to be a parent.

I will wait until they add keyboard/mouse support before buying it. I've been wanting to play this for a while, though...looks like a real winner, and it kind of takes the zombie genre to another level.

Over reacting much? lol

It's not like this is some kind of surprise. BIS announced they would do this and why months ago. With the MP, editor and user content (not to mention compatible with Arma 2 mods/missions/islands/etc) this is no big deal. The SP campaign is just a nice to have feature, always has been with Arma. Clearly some of you are new around here.

Yep. If you want to wait until the SP campaign is released before buying the game, go ahead, no one will hate you for that.

No one can rag on these developers...they support their games to the end of the earth. Up until a little while ago (and maybe still), ARMA 2 was receiving beta patches frequently.

Plus they support the modding community extremely well. And, y'know, ARMA 3 is the best military FPS sim on the planet, and that's not even open for debate.

News Comments > Steam Family Sharing Announced; Will Allow Game Lending
62. Re: Steam Family Sharing Announced; Will Allow Game Lending Sep 12, 2013, 07:52 Tim1_2

This is actually a good feature, and a step in the right direction. People are complaining about it, but it's something Valve didn't have to do at all.

Steam will never let you give away games out of your library, or enable simultaneous use of the same game between accounts...that would just be a horrible business decision.

Steam is pretty great, and while it didn't "save" PC gaming, it IS the reason why we have as many quality PC titles as we do.

Maybe just keep your phone plugged in next to your bed while you sleep? That means no missed alarms (if you consider this a good thing), and you're always waking up to a full charge.

C'mon Blue, it's easy!

I am all for screenshot thumbnails on the main page, and I've been around here forever, so my vote should count for more.

As for personal attacks...well I don't really think they're necessary against ANYBODY, forum member or not. Arguing about why someone is making a bad decision, doing something wrong, etc, is fair game, but just calling people names isn't going to get anybody anywhere.

So I bought 400 Days yesterday, and then realized I had uninstalled Season 1 of TWD. I reinstalled it, but I'm not certain my "choices" will be remembered and brought forward into 400 Days and Season 2? When I look at all the Chapters, Chapter 1 is the only one with a save game in it...not sure what happened, but can anyone confirm or deny if the record of my choices lives on even if I uninstalled the game?

Were there ever any extra single-player missions added to the original Alpha? Will this Beta add more single-player missions?

Yeah, I have a ton of time in the mod as well. It's a little disappointing that they still have problems with clipping and zombie animations, but then they have added a lot of content too. I will certainly be all over the standalone when it comes out.

Really enjoying the game and at 15.00 you really cant go wrong. It has a really cool historic aspect mini game that is very interesting. You find these cards in the game and it gives you true facts about a particular event or person in the old west. Overall I'm really enjoying it. Reminds me of "Outlaws" a bit.

Outlaws was a fantastic game that never got the widespread appreciation and admiration it deserved. And, as has been noted, Outlaws' soundtrack is amazing.

Oh, I don't know about that. Been in my house coming up on seven years now and I think the total amount of time spent talking to neighbors is under 15 minutes -- and that includes arranging a brief incursion onto someone else property to have my landscaping guys clear some "junk trees".

But there was probably no existing bad blood between you and your neighbour. Things are different when there's animosity.

Like with kids, pets, and techniques for dealing with pets, are always a super-touchy situation. People with small dogs tend to not worry much about restraining them or training them for that matter, as the potential consequences of a wild toy poodle are less severe than those of a loose large dog.

I can see the IGN article in my minds eye!

It says....10/10...wait there is more...considerable gushing over unimportant game mechanics and purty graphics, yes yes I can see it now.....it says that this is the bestest, purtyest, awesomest, epicnesest game of the year...

That's...well...bang on.

I also thought the singleplayer was AWESOME. That one mission towards the end when you're defending your camp from an all-out assault was WICKED! Multi-player was rock-solid fun too! Definitely one of the most underrated first-person shooters ever! Can't wait for #2....
