Someone once told me that it's not the blade actually getting dull, but that there's a build up of 'smegma' that could be removed with a special solution, but I don't know what that is.
Probably not something you want on your face.

I have a little fuzzy wuzzy kitty cat. My fuzzy wuzzy kitty cat has sharp claws and sharp teeth. These instruments of death, however, are relatively small and only result in small scratches when me and my fuzzy wuzzy kitty cat "play" fight. When you have a 600 pound white tiger, or a slightly smaller regular tiger, and they decide to "play" fight, you are in the shizzy.

Hey Blue, did it ever occur to you that maybe the spiders had teamed up on that spider you saved? Maybe all the other spiders don't like him...maybe they were trying to drown him? Now that they know that you and the unlikeable spider are in cahoots, you're in big trouble mister. Walk with your arm in front of your face, because you're in for some hardcore webbings.

These conspiracy theories drive me nuts. Why in the world would either company possible want to leak a playable build of HL2 or the source code when they have so much to lose if they get caught?
A little group of weeny hackers took the source code and released the playable build.

Well, after hearing that the delay could be up to six months, learning that there's a playable (albeit crappy) version of HL2 floating around, and enduring all this hype over the past couple of months, I don't blame anyone for wanting to get their hands on the illegal version.
Just remember to buy the game when it's released too....

All these stupid conspiracy theories (including yours, FourPak) are braindead. There is source code out there, and there is a leaked playable version of Half-life 2 (although it's of shoddy quality apparently). There are screenshots from it, plus there's a HUGE amount of interest in the leak right now.
This is not an attempt by Valve to come up with an excuse for delaying HL2.

Game content leaked... |

Well, I was wrong, as I followed the posts on Planet Half-life. Now Planet Half-life has posted the following:
"While a complete beta of the game has not leaked, there is partial version with some actual game content floating around out there."
That's gotta be a pissoff for Valve. I saw some screenshots from the 'leak' on a website and it wasn't nearly "finished" quality. There were missing textures and stuff. Oh well....
