| Put out a barebones e-reader for $50 or less with amazing battery life and it will sell. Any higher than that and they start competing with cheap Android tablets that do a whole lot more than run glorified PDF files. |

The ignorant fantasy of socialism is here. Oh it's so glorious and all of our problems are solved! Endless wars supporting a global empire, corporate bailouts, a bankrupt government, central bankers counterfitting trillions of dollars whenever they want, every industry lobbying congress for ever more 'favors', boom & bust economy, failed regulatory agencies, the list of socialist insanity here is endless. Oh socialism, you are my dream come true! /sarc You've just described terminal end stage Capitalism. |

| Nintendo launched Wii U without a killer app. The closest thing they have to a system seller is that rushed copy-and-paste New Super Mario Bros. game that plays itself while you hold the controller. It feels like they launched a year before they were ready just so they could get a headstart on Sony and Microsoft. |

The Black Knight weapons are pretty to look at, but there are normal weapons that serve the same purpose. I beat the game using a Zweihander and you can get that an hour into the game if you figure out how to fight skeletons. You can farm Black Knight weapons before the last boss if you want, but it's not worth it unless you need to have everything.
The only thing that bothered me about Dark Souls was the inability to reset your stats and the lack of information about what stats do. Everything else about the game was fine and I still managed to beat it without looking at a wiki or FAQ. |

Then you realize you can dodge every attack, and the game becomes stupidly easy. You don't even need to dodge or parry anything. I beat the game by equipping the best shield possible and blocking everything. I rarely had to fight a boss more than once or twice (the first and second-to-last bosses were the hardest). |

They totally screwed up the rocket launcher in Q2 and the sound was much weaker overall. |

Call of Duty is a failure because it's too successful and discourages people from buying their competitors games.
Free multiplayer is a mistake even though it's a major selling point that keeps people playing long enough to buy the endless stream of map packs and DLC.
Black is white, slavery is freedom, etc. |

Whenever I have a CPU or motherboard fail on me (twice in 20 years), I upgrade both parts. Legacy hardware tends to hold its value so it's rarely worth buying something that isn't in production anymore. |

| Vita is powerful enough to emulate every system up to and including Wii. If it ever gets cracked, I'll buy it for the emulation potential alone. |

| This wouldn't be such a bad idea if Intel licensed the tech to other manufacturers like NVIDIA and ATI do with their GPUs. This would keep the motherboard manufacturers in business and ensure competitive pricing. |

InBlack wrote on Nov 14, 2012, 06:38: The point of my original post was to illustrate how far Blizzard has fallen. I own all of their games to date (apart from the expansions to World of Warcraft). I am now WILLING to pirate their shit even though I dont bother pirating shit anymore.
Im definitely not BUYING another Blizzard game after the slap in the face that was Diablo3, not unless they change their ways but I dont see that happening ever. I actually liked SC2 at least for the single-player and the story, and was looking forward to the expansions but I refuse to give them my money anymore. A lot of people pirate shit but they feign righteous indignation if you mention it on a video game forum. |
