see if can hold my attention for a bit.

That was my biggest problem with this game. I was able to focus on it long enough to complete with one character, but then I thought about trying to go through the 'evil' campaign, but just lost interest in playing. All the quests pretty much work out the same way in the game mechanics so it gets repetitive very quickly. Most games that have a good and evil campaign I have no problem playing through both sides. Sacred really needs better writers and designers that can hold the player's attention through compelling story-telling and game play design.

They'd probably have better luck with something like this if it was aimed at music videos. Girls could record themselves dancing and singing with their favorite performers and upload the clips to youtube.

I'm reading a book called Dream Warriors by Graham Masterton right now which basically has the same premise.

I love their policy that they dont re-hire people who got laid off

This seems to be SOP at many businesses, if not most of them. I wonder what the rationale behind it is? I would think rehire would be easier than bringing in someone unfamiliar with the company if management didn't have a specific complaint against that individual, but HR doesn't seem to operate that way. The strange thing is that even management goes through turnover, so even if there was bad chemistry with your super, that person may not be there anymore, but because computers remember everything forever, they still won't hire you.

I like NWN2, and I would have bought this, but the computer I play games on is not connected to the internet.

yeah, it's a pretty much perfect computer adaptation of Shadow over Innsmouth. I loved the part where you were in your bedroom and they were banging on the door and you had to block the door with furniture and leap out the window.

Yeah, I don't know why anyone with a mind even watches television. The internet is a much better source of information.

The only rebate I've ever had refused was on PNY memory. They told me that the offer had expired at the time I had made my purchase, which was strange, as I doubt I would have bothered to fill out the paperwork and send it in if the date on the sales receipt was outside the offer terms.

Have any of you guys ever read Weis & Hickman's Dragonlance Chronicles? I always thought that would have made a better movie than LotR if they threw the same amount of money at it for the same reasons you're mentioning. The writing style is contemporary and the character interactions are more sophisticated. I mean, you've got an undead love triangle! How cool is that?

The community should have a contest as to which team can bang out those 18 maps based on the plot descriptions in the smallest fraction of the time that 3DR spent.

I had constant random lock ups with Windows 32 bit. It's too bad, because the game was fun, but I eventually just gave up on it because of the lock ups.
