Couldn't they just phone the police? (Assuming the neighbors do not possess a prescription for usage.)

News Comments > Bourne Game Killed?
18. Re: Bourne Game Killed? Mar 24, 2010, 20:00 Bill Borre

The controls and mission design weren't friendly for anything other than moving all 4 guys together as a single unit. Maybe in a few early missions I'd have one guy stationed at one end of the map to intercept incoming guys and another group walking around with an escort target, but pretty soon there's just too much chaos to do anything but run around as a blob.

Yeah, I'm not quite sure why that game gets so much love here. I finished the game, but I thought it was extremely hard and often quite frustrating.

That wasn't my experience at all. I enjoyed the game very highly and am looking forward to the sequel.

When I was working at Activision in QA I was surprised they paid those people anything at all because so many people wanted to do it. I'm not surprised in the slightest that publishers are now going to be making money on unfinished demos.

lol. Are you kidding? The trolling here has been one of the most amusing characteristics of this site throughout the years. It just won't be Bluesnews if everyone just starts ignoring people they don't like and post civil comments.

I thought it was old the second time around. It must be really boring for people who can understand German.

I wonder if it's weird that I remember Peter more for Parts - The Clonus Horror than either Mission Impossible or Airplane.

How can you release a WWII game in Germany without swastikas in it? Isn't that kind of odd?

It's the game you should play if you like the original trilogy.

Guess they weren't too happy with how the last one was received.

Thanks for the info. No, I hadn't read the specifics before, but it makes me wonder why they don't strip the save functionality out of the code if they are going to require an online check. Like you say, scene groups could provide a fake server emulator, but that seems like adding functionality into a code base as opposed to removing protection and I wonder how many would bother with it as that doesn't seem to be what they're into.

If the programmers write the code so that the game cannot be saved unless connected to a UBI server I don't see how that could be cracked. Sure the scene groups may release a version, but would you really want to play a game that can't be saved?

No, the SP campaign would have been more interesting if that was what the game was actually about.

8.8! Damn, that's one big earthquake! With 122 dead it must have been a low pop area considering all the people who died in Haiti. I think I read in an Arthur C. Clarke book years ago that Ricter 9.0 is about as big as they can get due to the molecular construction of the soil.

I really don't see how a modern sequel to Wasteland would be all that different from Fallout 3. You could mention specific characters and places like the three-legged prostitute and Needles but you could do that in a mod for Fallout 3.
