Pfft to SC. And Dave can suck 150% of my balls at that price.
Now one thing to note about that price is that $150 gets you the premium beta phase which starts in 2 weeks. You get immediate access to the single player portion.
You get the full game of course $50 and all the expansion packs $50
So if you were planning to get the game and DLC you are paying $50 more for the premium beta access, which isn't so bad.
Best thing to do though is just wait for the final game. It already looks amazingly good and polished.

I'm not in love with the Star Citizen thread craziness, but... back at the end of April Tumbler mentioned that the SC DFM was supposed to have a limited release in the second week of May (this week). So, did that happen?
Not yet, the devs are too busy playing Elite

And how would you do GUI elements in a racing game (position, time, map?) You can't just make them floating pieces in the car, it must be.. sort of like a helmet projection style 3D GUI that space sims use...
That is going to be an issue for every game not just racing.
VR will definitely need some tweaking to make it work and look right. They just have to hurry up and release the consumer version already so devs can start making games for it.

I don't see why would racing games make you more sick than flight sims or space dogfight games.
If VR makes someone sick I don't think it matters much what game they play.

Oh okay, yeah I think AC and Project CARS will have Rift support, I am not aware of any other racing game right now that supports VR.
To be fair though the Rift is not available for the public yet so no surprise there is not too many "finished" game supports it.

Assume you do not own Euro Truck 2 yet
By the way Asseto Corsa with TrackIR is pretty damn awesome. I've never tried iRacing but I do like the videos on youtube. Maybe some day, but the MP aspect of iRacing scares me though.
Wish it had an offline trial mode for free or something.

Ubisoft is normally pretty good with their PC port regardless of the amount of platforms the game is developed for. Ass Creed, Splinter Cell were pretty good looking games on the PC imho.
Far Cry was awesome too however I was pissed they cut down on the graphical fidelity on the finished game compared to their E3 reveal gameplay video.
I fully expect the 2014-E3 Far Cry 4 reveal video to look mind blowing and than the finished game look a little less mind blowing when it ships.

$45 for an Early Access game is a bit steep imho.

It's that they charged during the kickstarter; so obviously they can't sell it for less than that.
Yeah I know why they did it, but I still don't like it.
We'll see how the game turns out, looks pretty cool from that video on the Steam page but not enough for me to throw money at it.
The last few games were complete thrash.

There's some truth behind the "kickstarter was a success, now you are funded, go and finish the game before taking more money"

Here's my video review.

From what you're saying, it's a much better purchase for people who don't own MoW:AS than those who do. It's pricey for me at this point, and the deluxe edition on steam are possibly the worse bonuses I've seen - they basically amount to telling yourself and everyone else that you bought the deluxe edition.
Just wait for a sale and pick it up.
I believe GMG has a 20% off coupon and it works on this game as far as I know if you wanted to pick it up now.

Ugh, already sick of this 5-platform support crap. New generation of consoles comes out, and we're still being held back by 10-year-old hardware. What's the deal?

150+ million potential customers. sadly.

End support for the old consoles and force everyone to adopt.
It will happen eventually, probably by the end of 2015 there won't be any new games coming out for the last gen consoles it will be all Ps4/one

No, there's been quiet a few MoW games but Assault Squad was one of the best imo. This is a sequel to that.

Surprise!
I didn't know they were going to release the game now, at the last delay it sounded like they were taking a bit longer time to work on it. I guess they are running out of cash.
Game is fun regardless, but I have not played it in a while. Performance was pretty bad on my computer in comparison to AS1
