Wow I didn't know that. It looks pretty cool and I like the more realistic shooter aspect of it, kind of like Insurgency sci fi edition.
It is very bare bones though.

I do like what they are going for though. After playing it a bit more I am enjoying it but wish the enemy locations would be random.
Not much replayability ones you learn where the enemies are. At least in SP.
Also don't like how the corpses and bullet holes all just disappear. Almost immediately.

Josh changed up is communication method. He stopped his daily dev logs, and instead updates weekly or so on the KS page. That being said, he missed last weeks update, and currently there's a "Where is Josh" thread on the LT General Forum.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is burned out, or came down with something awful. He's been getting more erratic over the past several months, and putting too much pressure on himself to make unreasonable deadlines. You can only get 3 hours of sleep for so many months before something breaks.

The route plotting seem to work a lot faster too and plotting a long route now has a % meter so you see the progress.
Like that a lot.

It has SP, not sure if that is a campaign or not but it is more like kill all the robots on the map.
Performance wise the game runs like a dog on my machine though.
I know it is early access and all that jazz but graphics aren't that hot imo to make my GTX760 crawl on 1080p

Well I am sure he will release the beta when it is ready to be released.
I didn't follow it so closely, but it seems like he communicated this info with the backers through the Kickstarter page so I don't see what the big deal is.

PA had a giant red flag over it when both supcom 1 and 2 cost 10 million to make. They were trying to make one on 2.5 million 5x less then Supcom 1 took.

Anyone who invested in PA was game development illiterate. It should have been obvious given that the internet is filled with developers themselves talking about huge game budgets and impossible deadlines.
Well I didn't see the red flags. Anyways lesson learned.

People invest into these projects should be well aware they are basically gamble with their money.

He froze further funding of the project until the game is released.

The more reason to play the older BF games like 3-4
Hopefully most of the hackers moved on to the new game, so the older ones are a bit more enjoyable.
