SKYRIM!!!!!!
DayZ is the new Skyrim

Not all #1's have equal sales. For as long as Day Z has been #1, I've heard it has now sold 2 million. When you look at it that way, sometimes being #1 on steam isn't all that impressive.
Actually I don't think Skyrim sold a whole heck of a lot more units on the PC either. IIRC the reports were suggesting something like 3 million units sold on the PC.

Meh, I turn mine off every night, or if I'm going to work and not running a download.
Same here, for some reason sleep mode doesn't work too well on my desktop. Keep crashing for some reason.
When it doesn't crash it would go to sleep but then wake from sleep for no reason. (I have network wake or whatever it is called off)
I was screwing around with it for a while removed some windows updates which apparently caused the issue but problem still exist so I just shut it off.
With my SSD it doesn't take that long to boot up anyways.

Ok I see, thanks for the feedback.
I know the boot up time is faster but at the time when I've used 8 and not 8.1 the whole OS experience seemed sluggish. Games took longer to load, some crashed with some weird errors (assuming driver issues) etc.

On my newest build, Win8.1 significantly outperforms Win7 (both 64 bit installs). While the UI isn't my cup of tea, exactly, it's serviceable enough as I mostly use the desktop. For me, the performance gains were worth the change over.

I'm hoping Win9 cleans up the UI significantly. If that happens, I think 9 will have the same welcome and adoption that 7 has enjoyed.
Where exactly do you see performance gains over 7?
While I was using 8.0 it seemed a lot more sluggish compared to 7

Yeah there are 4 different Win8 versions listed
All together nearly 25%

Actually it is almost 25%, not that it matters much.
I bet majority of that are new laptops

Also raise your hand... Who thought when they saw "The following was captured on a Xbox One" said to themselves "What I see next will be the worst it will look for next-gen and PC", lol.
What I thought when I saw that was
Exclusive DLC release first on the Xbone
They have to please their target audience

Sadly Creston a lot of people doesn't care about that stuff. For one thing they buy these games for the MP. How else do you think Act. can make record profits on DLC map packs?
I personally have zero interest in SP when it comes to CoD. Same thing I can say about BF games.
What they should do is make the SP and MP 2 separate games and let people buy them separately. $39.99 for SP or MP only or $60 for both.

I've actually never played a Treyarch CoD (even though I own BlOPS2),
I thought their games were the best CoD titles.
Even today Blops2 is the best one out. Ghost was terrible.
My favorite CoD game to date is made by Treyarch it is World at War. Quiet a few years old now, but still fun.

So what happened with Treyarch? Did they get absorbed into IW? or are they still around?
They are still around, they've made Black Ops 2 about a year and a half ago. I assume next year's CoD will be theirs.
Although their PC dev left them so I guess it will be some other group working on the PC port.

People will buy this in hopes that this will be different, then 5 minutes in the game they will realize it is the same old shit with a fresh coat of paint on it.
