This is Battlefield: Pay-Day.
Of course. After David Goldfarb left Dice ones BF3 was finished, he made Pay-Day2 and it turned out to be a successful game.
Dice figured why be original when they can just copy someone else, then DLC the shit out of it.

So can you limit who can jump into your game or is it open to the public?

Can you not just buy those planes later as a DLC or unlock them in game or something?
I hope this is not going to be some sort of a MP only game where what kind of planes you own does make a big difference

Watching the streams and gameplay vids on youtube the fire effects for example are not even close to the ones they've showed in the E3 video.

I am looking forward to the inevitable PC max setting videos that compares the finished game to the E3 reveal trailer.

I do like that table at the end of the page though with the recommended settings for different video cards.

Looks like they are only targeting 35fps @ 1080p with those settings though. I know that might be a bit low for most of us. I dunno.
Yeah that is pretty low.

i7-2600K, GeForce GTX TITAN SLI system at 1920x1080, with every other setting maxed out, and 4x TXAA enabled.
With specs like that they can not even hit 60fps on low HBAO settings 1080p resolution, ouch

Damn i want this, but for retail prices
They are aiming for releasing it this year.
The way they are moving along with all these Alpha/Beta phases I think that is realistic.
Probably October/November.
Did I mention one of the first DLCs will be planetary landing
I don't remember the last time I was this pumped for a video game.

And Meat you really need to do one of those with Danger Zone playing. Do a few fly by shots and stuff.

That or The Final Countdown by Europe
I thought about adding music to the videos but the game sounds are so freaking awesome I didn't want to ruin it

I was screwing around trying to avoid the Cobra.

This is an early build of the game from past December, the current Alpha 4 has a ton more stuff, but beta backers have no access to that.
We will get our hands on the latest build on Friday. Hopefully my X-55 Rhino will get here by then too

I've been tinkering with my joystick and TrackIR setup this past weekend. I recorded one of the single player scenarios.
Here it is.
I need a lot more practice of course but the dogfight feels pretty dang good.
Can't wait for the beta this Friday
