Same here I had so much fun playing KF1, just the screenshot alone already sold the game for me. I hope it wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg thou
Nahh this is Tripwire Interactive, one of the very few PC only devs out there that loves their customers.
If anything these guys will give discounts to those that already own the first game, but I don't see KF2 to be a premium priced game the begin with.
Probably going to be in the $20-$30 range at the most.

This is going to be interesting. Looking forward to see how the maps get painted with blood as the game progresses and the blood stays doesn't disappear. I don't remember seeing too many games that does that.

Yeah I am not that hardcore. I think overall I have about 10~20 hrs in Anno so I barely scratched the surface.
There was always a new game or something came up and I stopped playing then forget how to play it when I get back into it.

It just goes to show that there are many different gamers in the world, for me Anno 2070 + Addon is nearly mind-numbing simple (As in, there is barely any challenge unless you switch on combat or play for specific self-set goals).

The early game was simple but later on when you get into research this and that the game just kind of lost me.
Maybe I'll load it up again this weekend and give it another whirl

I've tried so many times but can not get into Anno2070.
I literally have to watch hours of tutorial vids on youtube to learn the game each time I want to play it, then I don't play it for a month or so and forget everything.
Maybe it's just not for me.

Tropico seems to be a bit simpler to get into with a lot of depth to explore if I want to get into the nitty gritty of economy.

By the way GMG has a 25% off coupon that works on Tropico 5 this weekend only ALFIS4-GRATZ0-025GMG

Looks interesting. Kind of what Simcity 2013 wanted to do I guess but failed.
Let's hope these guys can pull it off.

Best of luck to them.
When they've hinted a revival of the UT franchise this clearly isn't what I thought it was going to be.

In other news Killing Floor 2 was announced today! Looking forward to that one

I'll never forget the time I somehow (accidentally) managed to kill 3 guys with the same bullet in 2. That was so fucking awesome, and I didn't even plan it...

Yep there were fun moments in 2 but it was super linear. In 3 they seem to address this issue. Could be a fun game.

I didn't care for Bastion but I will try a demo of this game if there is one.

I didn't either. I like the way this one is semi-turned based, where you queue up various attacks.

Yeah that is pretty cool, I assume the combat is going to be pretty hectic later on. I also like the graphics style and the futuristic setting, but I don't like all those enough to blindly drop the $20 for the game.

I didn't think premium meant free to play. Hopefully their full PC game announcement will make more sense than that one sentence mention of it's existence.

Holy fuck, this muxwell guy is the scum of the earth. Glad Valve did pull this.

Has there been any updates from him since it was pulled? I'd love to hear some screaming.

Nahh he is too busy creating a new account and resubmit his "game" under a different name.

I don't see this game being any better than the last few MW games. How good could it be when they have less than a year to make it?
You do realize that there are 3 different studios working on this franchise now right?
Each studio takes it's turn to release a new game every 3 years.

21. Re: Steam Top 10 Redux May 5, 2014, 16:01 SpectralMeat

Yeah it seemed low for me as well, but they were claiming the game sold close to 17mill copies on the consoles and only 2~3 mill on the PC.
Even though all the media sources were reporting the PC version of Skyrim was outselling the console version by a large margin when the game came out.
I also doubt Skyrim still sells that well on the 360 or PS3, yet it still sells well on the PC.

Wish Steam would release some real numbers, not sure what's the point of hiding digital sales numbers.
