Also, Chris Taylor tried to KS a stone age game. It tanked.
Because of Chris Taylor or because of the theme of the game?

The last Cities games weren't the greatest though.

If you're referring to Cities XL, that's a completely different studio.
Yep that is the one, didn't realize it was a different studio

Thanks but I am pretty sure I do not have it.
Reading through the Elite Forum I am not supposed to have it anyways.
I did not back the game in the kickstarter stage but later when the premium beta came out, and therefore I shouldn't have it.
I remember seeing that panel and I am pretty sure 99% it only had Sol in there for permits.
I am at work so can not check it atm.

I don't think I do. I believe the only permit I have is to SOL
I don't remember where but I did see permits somewhere

I was in the beta and I have access to Sol but not sure about the Founder's World.
Is that the name of the system I should be looking for on the map?

My only issue is that I can not buy a new ship until my cargo hold is empty.
I wish I thought about this before I got my type 6 and kept my Cobra instead of selling it.
That way I could just park my type 6 and go shoot up some poor sob npc pirates to release the trigger finger itch before sit back into the space truck seat.
I didn't realize my transport ship cargo will never be empty.
Now I gotta go through the excercise of selling everything at a station, loosing out on some very nice profit in order to get a new ship then I can go on and refill the cargo.

I was looking at the type 7 last night it is pretty expensive.
My Type6 would worth 2.8mill as a trade in. The type 7 cost 17mill right off the bat, before any upgrades.
I am probably looking at 20mill to have that ship upgraded and for the trade runs I do I don't know if it would be very helpful to have any bigger ship than the type 6
I am not using 100tons of cargo space as it is now. Never go above 90tons
That's doing rare trade run (11 stops)
Maybe that 71 stop run would max out my cargo space

Have you ever considered buying one of those repair thingies that repairs your ship automagically?
Can't remember what they are called, but might be a better way to go than get the station to repair it

I believe the auto-field maintenance unit repairs damaged (or broken) subsystems. It won't fix your hull.
Really?
Oh I thought it would repair your hull as well.
Wow that is kind of expensive to fly a ship like the Asp then
When I said I was having bad luck with Pythons I was trying to kill them in my Cobra/Viper
The repair cost of those is like 20,000 when you have like 5% hull left

I really miss my Cobra lol
This whole trade run stuff is really profitable but I want to kill something now

Why do people shit on games that aren't even out yet and/or have very little information available? What kind of people do this? Do you shit on your cereal in the morning?
I don't think they particularly shit on the game more on the developer that fucked them over more than ones.
The last Total War games since Shogun 2 weren't so stellar to say the least. Not sure about Attila yet but what I am hearing it won't be a very good one either, kind of following Rome2 foot steps. Not to mention the crappy "gore DLC" and stuff like that they cut out of the game and sell you later. You can already see that in the Attila trailers. No blood or gore that will be a DLC later.

I loved the Warhammer games and I think it would be great if these guys would make a Total War game based on it, but I will reserve judgement until it is out.
One thing for sure I will not preorder any more Total War games in the future.

Ok, so if I have a QTY of 15 rares from a station, that might be the max regardless if I wait 10 minutes or 10 years. Guess it's time to launch (at lunch of course )
That is correct
Normally if you are above 10 on a certain rare goods that can be the limit. It varies by rares and ones you run the whole route a few times you'll kind of know.
The Lave Brandy for instance I can never buy more than about 6 of. If the station has more than 3 at ones I am lucky.
Normally they only sell me 2~3 at the time.
Other goods I can usually buy 10~15 at ones.

OK, I'll sell the Adder and buy a Hauler to start off in.

So I've graduated from an Adder to a Hauler to a Cobra, selling rare's definitely boosts the bank account.

Question, how often does a rare commodity get re-supplied? I have E:D running in the background while I work and I have checked about every 20 minutes and I have not seen this resource re-supply in about 30+ minutes.

Is it not supplying or is someone simply just beating me to the purchase?

It resupplies every 10 or so minutes.
Others can not buy up the rares that you see. There is a personal limit however so if you can not buy anymore that is because you've reached the limit of that particular item.
Sometimes you can buy as much as your limit at ones, sometimes you have to wait around for a resupply.
I keep forgetting to do that but I meant to write down the limit for each item. Some caps out at 20 some at 9
Normally if I am sitting there "playing" I don't wait for a resupply unless if it is a very low amount I could grab like 2-3 instead of 9-10.

I wouldn't get too excited yet.
Recommended doesn't mean run everything at max settings at 60fps
We'll see when the game comes out.

I don't think Toronto is that bad Cutter, definitely much better than Hamilton or Montreal.
I think the biggest issue all our cities have is the constant construction.

Anyways I think I am going to check this game out too. The last Cities games weren't the greatest though.

So, to recap:
- 4 maps
- zombies
- a new weapon
- a new weapon variant

For the low, low price of $15!

Remember when UT would just release 12 maps for free? Yeah, I miss those days.
this is only the first of 4 DLC 3 more to go before the new CoD game comes out in Nov
$120/year to play CoD
It's ok if you play nothing but this game I guess

I haven't been fighting much either, kind of stuck in the hamster wheel of trading.
Wish I would have kept my Cobra to do some combat to change the pace a bit. These trade runs are pretty mind mumbling.
I don't understand why they don't allow you to buy a ship when your cargo hold has items in it.
I am actually playing solo not online. Figured with a trade ship I don't need the extra pressure of getting ganked.
If I was in a combat ship I'd be online. I actually was online while I was fighting. Never killed any players yet, although I was killing pirates while other players were around. Was waiting for them to start shooting me.

I think I have my Type6 at the max, I could stick a better power plant into it which would give me a 0.5 Ly longer jump distance unladen but it would also cost me 1.4 mill more than the one I have currently installed.
I could take the shield off but with the drunk docking computer I better have shield so I am all set I think.
I don't think it cost me 10mill to outfit it though.
More like 3-4
