Yeah maybe I should spend a bit more time with it. It just did not feel right for me. Handling in Grid Autosport and Asseto Corsa are fun and enjoyable for me.
I am also trying to play F1-2013 but find it pretty frustrating at times. Some tracks are awesome but some are frustrating to no end, like Monaco for example.

I have only spent a couple of hours in GRID Autosport and have not tried multiplayer yet. For me, I still prefer DTM Experience 2013, an offshoot of Raceroom Race Experience, for single-player and multiplayer. I feel it has the best sound out of any and all racing titles and good sound improves the sense of immersion by giving the driver feedback.
I've only tried the free content that is available for RaceRoom and I did not like the handling at all.
It felt too twitchy for the wheel. Maybe it handles better with the controller not sure, but I did not enjoy it enough to spend any money on the game.

That is how it is in 8.1, isn't it?

And still the worst customer service in the industry..
The few times I've had to deal with the Customer Service rep, I've had no issues with them.
That doesn't mean everyone else's experience is the same but I personally have never had any issues with Steam customer support.
Had to deal with far worst customer service in the past, like Direct2Drive aka Gamefly.
Fucking terrible customer service

So on Hard difficulty the Ai will see me on the track and not try to ram me if I am in their race line?
Because currently on medium difficulty they will push you off the road or continuasly hit you from behind before a turn until you get out of their way just like you don't even exist on the track.
At least in the Touring cars category. It pisses me off sometimes when I am coming up to a turn and all of the sudden the Ai slams into the back of my car push me off course.

I've been playing the Grid Autosport "unofficial demo" in the past few days and I gotta say I like it.
The Ai is completely blind, and there are some bugs here and there like the teleportation bug, but the overall racing experience, the feel of the cars handling wise is fun. I am using a G27 steering wheel/pedal combo.
I did see Jaguar's video, which was fairly positive as well.

So yesterday I've had a couple of beers and ended up pulling the trigger on the game.
Looking forward to sink more time into this.
Hopefully Codemasters will patch the Ai up a bit. Apparently they are a bit better on higher difficulty, I will probably give that a try.

I don't see anything wrong with Early Access, being a kickstarter backer of this game, I think Early Access is okay.
Seeing this game go on sale for half than what the Kickstarter people had to pay to get access to the beta however pisses me right off!!!

Yeah the problem with the second one was those long range sniper kills quickly turned into close quarter firefights in 3rd person view way too soon.
The maps were also super linear, with some set pieces, but you certainly couldn't go and have absolute freedom of how to tackle the objectives.
It was an average game that's worth looking at when on sale for $10-ish or less.
I personally don't expect a whole heck of a lot more from the sequel. I guess they've added 2 player coop this time so it may worth checking into it for some people.

Beta is over? Well that was quick. Nice to see a developer able to fix all the bugs and issues in the game so quickly. Yeah excellent work!
Yeah exactly.
This was more of a hype generator than a "beta"
I wish the best of luck for them.

I think this game is amazing to capture the young ones like this. I much rather see my kids play something like this than CoD

Strongly agree, my 7 y/o plays Minecraft and also physical Legos, both are great for creativity and imagination.
Yep my 7year old son also loves Legos.
I love to step on those dang lego pieces in the morning as I am finding my way to the Kitchen for some coffee

I've managed to download it on the "free weekend" but didn't get a chance to play it. What a waste of bandwidth.
The way EA games go on sale this might even be free in a few moths, or $5 by holidays?

Its kind of sad to see that in the park though. Whats the point of going outside to play if they are basically still playing minecraft on their ipads or whatever?? Sigh...50 years from now kids wont even know what a tree looks like in real life, they will probably recognise one in a picture on their tablet of choice...
agreed
Some kids spend way too much time staring at the screens.

I saw some kids playing minecraft at the local park

Im trying to picture this in my head but really cant get it to work with my (limited) imagination. Were they like sitting in the sand pit and playing it on their laptops?? Worried
More like on their iPod or iPad.
This game is on every imaginable platform.
My 7 yrs old son plays this all the time. He shows me the stuff he built, and than when he gets together with his other friends they are talking about all their Mincraft stories.
