I've been watching TB playing this for a while now. Looks interesting, I might give it a try however I am not big on these card games.

LOL!
How about a headset that detects your rage shuts the console off for you and walk you the fook outside to get some fresh air!

In other news Microsoft paying YouTubers for Xbox One mentions

I thought for sure World of Tanks or Planetside 2 was going to be in first place.
I've never even heard of Crossfire

I actually did not find the performance to be crappy, but I will load up fraps and without recording I will play a few races and see what the frame rate is like.
It seems pretty smooth so I'd say in the 60s but I might be wrong not sure.
The demo they released is more of a test in a big open room full of destructible objects, but it is fun.
I found the video series from VVV gamer in the UK to be the best to give you an overview of the Alpha.
Here they are if anyone interested

In other words, both teams would be something like 6 humans and 10 bots, with the bots being cannon fodder. Those bots would count for fewer points and be there more to die spectacularly than anything else.
Red Orchestra is setup that way.
They have bots in the MP game and a lot of times on servers with low number of human players the humans take one side and all the bots are in the other.
It is a slaughter fest, gets boring after a while but it does provide some fun for sure.

Ok thanks for the feedback guys, thought it was my crappy internet connection at work, as noone was mentioning anything about it
Thought about mentioning something to Blue on Twitter during the "downtime" to see if he can look into it.
Maybe it has to do with the hosting service he uses not sure.

Shouldn't be too hard to find people that can use copy/paste efficiently.
They still have a few months to whip something up for the November release

After signing in with your Origin account, here is the message you get:
Your application to participate is complete. If you are selected to take part in our upcoming test, you will receive an email in the coming days with a unique code and instructions on how to download and access the game on Xbox One. Thank you!

Didn't realize this was for the Xbone only

Does anyone else getting some problems when trying to access Blues?
I am not sure if the website was down this morning or was it my internet connection at work, but I couldn't access the site for about an hour today and pretty much most of the morning yesterday.

I couldn't resist, I just bought it on Steam. I'm weak.

It looks really sharp. If I knew performance was decent, I'd dive in...

Try the demo.

Is it worth the early access price?

A RL friend of mine is the lead on this game. Actually I know most of the guys working on the game, they are a small studio and this is their first real taste of the big leagues. Its a great concept and will be a great game once its released but the game is still in alpha and so beware a lot of features are missing/bugged.

So to answer your question the answer is it depends. If you like to actively support developers and help them fix and improve the game, then the answer is yes. They participate actively in the forums and listen to feedback. If you just want to get your space sim fix, then the answer is very much no. Wait for beta or release.
Thanks.
I think I'll pick it up. Watched some lets plays last night and it looks promising and the Steam forum seems to be pretty positive as well. I also saw the devs are active on the forum which is always a good sign in my books.
I assume it will be more expensive when it hits beta/final release anyways.

My specs:

i5-3570k/16Gb RAM/GTX570/Win7-64 1080p resolution everything settings.

I'm sure the GTX 570 has something to do with the lack of performance, though my CPU is OC'd to 4.2ghz

:/
Yeah that must be it. Mine is OC to 4.2 as well, forgot to mention

Hehe thanks. He loves car games.
I think they have a free demo, maybe not on the Steam site but on their website. Don't know if the demo derby is in the demo however.

Looks like it actually runs pretty well for you. What are your specs and settings?
I tried that derby map and the FPS was about 20-30 on high.
i5-2500k/12Gb RAM/GTX760/Win7-64 1080p resolution everything settings in the game was on the max.
I was using the Shadowplayer beta that is part of the Nvidia Experience to record the video. Frame rate doesn't seem to take as much of a hit as if I use fraps.
Not exactly sure what the exact frame rate was, but it looked very smooth on screen. Doesn't look as smooth on the youtube video actually. Maybe something to do with youtube not sure, but the original video that was recorded seems a lot smoother.
