I really don't get the hate against SC2. I own both, and while different, both are good. I've played both well over 100 hours each. I like the midrange experimental units, and the streamlined research tree. Yes, there are less units and thus fewer strategies, but there are days where I just don't have time/energy to play SC 1. Also, I can play SC 2 with my 10 year old, where she struggles a bit more with SC 1's complexity. I'm glad they didn't just make a prettier SC 1.

All that being said, I've got a hankering for a new epic RTS, something complex where you can even design your own units. So here's hoping for SupCom3!

The rig boots up in 5 seconds or less, everything went flawlessly with the build & Win7 install (although it took me a while to figure out where how to fasten the SSD to its drive-bay-thingie heh). MW:O online runs without any hickups or slowdowns whatsoever at 1080p with everything maxed.

The SATA3 SSDs are massively faster than the SATA2 ones? Or do you mean to get a SATA3 SSD and connect it to a SATA2 port? I don't even know if that'd work, to be honest.

But there is a pretty goshdarn big difference in speed.

Regardless of what happens, and how many people complain, they aren't going to be removing the always on DRM (aka regional play), they aren't going to add offline mode. As they've said, they've put all the chips down on that. The entire game is designed around that.
