I use a very small, 3 lane 1 way round about, with 4 way streets on exit. Much smaller than the 'small' roundabout and much more effective. No lights either, just stop signs to enter. If I create in game instead of editor, if I am off by a slight bit I might end up with lights.

If I try to create different ones in game instead of editor, traffic lights everywhere, even inside the roundabouts which kills the purpose.

That's something I've been really wondering. They say every ship will be able to be purchased in game but if it's prohibitively expensive that may not be worth it (though if there are ways to make big space bucks may be okay). These are the details that are going to make the difference for me with regards to the game. I'm sitting on my space bucks until there's more stuff to buy (go 25,000). May poke around the store this weekend but I'm curious when they are going to share these numbers.
Probably not until it's closer to release. We'll also need to know how much money we can make with certain activities like trading or piracy etc. Otherwise prices of the ships alone won't say much.

Most X games take 30 hours to really get a good grasp. Free weekend is normally an excuse just to have it on sale for people that have been waiting.
That might be correct, but still a few hours of gameplay on your own is a lot more valuable to make a purchase decision than someone else's opinion on the game imho.

Yeah that zero G arena style gameplay they've showed in the video didn't interest me much, but the map walk through and details in that level was impressive.
I did like the gameplay where they've switched that level into zero G.
Hope they can achieve their goals because the concept is amazing. Wonder how that perma death situation will play out. You'll have a cloning facility in your ship or something?
Will you be cloned/respawn back at your hangar but what about your ship parked at the planet/station?
