Re. Witcher
What does that mean for the PC than? 100Gb install?
This game looks so good and I don't even care for RPGs but I might buy this one.

Surprised to see Grey Goo is not on the list. I thought that game was pretty decent.
Maybe there is no more interest in old school RTS anymore, or the title of the game really hurts sales.

Re. shadowplay
I have it setup so it's always on and if I hit Alt+F10 it saves the last 10 minutes of gameplay to the hard drive.
Guess it depends on your video card but I doubt it uses a lot of resources to record all the time.
That way you can just play the game and if something cool happens just save it after instead of remembering in the middle of the combat to hit the record button.
Shadowplay is one of the main reason I do not want an AMD video card.

Thanks MadMax
But then I don't understand what the public beta means?
Everyone that has the game preordered or piad for it during kickstarter already have access to the alpha/beta do they not?

Welp, got my ASP up to a 30.50 LY jump range, heading out as far as I dare to go, hopefully someday you will see stars that were mapped by CMDR Tooch first! Love that you can have even a small legacy in the game that others can see.

See you on the dark side of the moon!
LOL
For some reason I thought Tooch was Mr Tact
nicely done on the Asp. I've just sold my Cobra and I am all packed up in my Type6 heading out on a 200+Ly road trip to make some fortune and fame!

There are definitely some people where you watch more for the players personality or humor factor too.
Bingo
I also like to watch let's play videos to see what the gameplay is like. Sometimes watching someone playing a game for an hour or so is enough of the game for me I don't have to play it myself because I know I would just waste my money on it, but sometimes those let's plays makes me want to get the game.
It's also nice to see the game played by some dude on the internet instead of those carefully choreographed PR gameplay videos that the publisher put out.

Kinguin is the absolute shit! Bought tens of games there since I found out they sell for the lowest price. 25+ games and not a single problem with these guys.
Dying Light cost $54 on Kinguin and $59 on Steam.
I better off getting games from GMG with their 20%-30% codes

Edit: I see Kinguin has a steam code gift option also for $47, again same price as GMG

Hah.. GMG...
This product is not available in your region. Sorry!

Or to sum it up

Why I don't buy games from GMG anymore 1:1 prices and region lock. Not a dolt better than uPlay
They don't have control over what games can be sold at what region, that's controlled by the publisher.
I can not buy Grey Goo from them for example because it is not available in NA
Some games however available everywhere like GTA5 for example and they always have a coupon floating around for a minimum of 20% off.
Not to mention if you link up your Steam account with them you get money back for certain achievements from games.
I think I have like $5 on my account for doing nothing but playing the games.
To each their own I guess but I much prefer GMG over any shady key seller sites any day.

Necessity. I'm up to 20M cash, with probably another 8-10M sunk into a Type-6 and a battle ready Cobra. And I still can't really afford a Type-7 or Clipper to do the high volume trading... How did you get the money to buy your Clipper?
Same here.
I can't afford any bigger ships without the long trade runs.
Not sure how Vall got into those big ships so soon.

From the latest dev update:
As well as the new features we’re continuing to fix and investigate issues, some fix highlights include improvements for AI docking and the docking computer, better handling of ship to ship collisions, balancing dumbfire missiles and shield cells and balancing of heat generation by weapons.

Yeey!

Yeah I agree about SC. I don't want to say anything negative in the SC threads anymore because there is no point, we'll see how that game turns out but so far I am not enjoying the way the ship feels when you fly it, and well in a space game that is kind of a deal breaker.

The videos look cool how you can land and trade etc but who knows by the time that game ships we will have 3 expansion packs for Elite.

As for the trade runs yeah those are like chores. I just put on some music, having a tea and texting with friends while doing it.
Otherwise it would drive me nuts.
You are also kind of locked in until you complete the circle and get back to your start position to change ships and go do something else.
It is very profitable but super boring.

The backers already have access to the FPS module as well, so they are playing with that, not just the dogfight stuff. They also have access to a very early alpha of the social interaction module they talk about there, players waltzing around a market, etc.
