Creston Yeah, that's the main thing I'm worried about. $400 tag for the system probably wouldn't keep me from buying it, but $70+ per game would. There's not much point to a system like that if building any kind library for it is prohibitively expensive, and even at $60 a game it tends to cut out anything from even a stable (and ample) gaming budget that's not a must-have title. Used games sales will boom |

Speaking of WatchDogs, did any of you guys actually see the WatchDog part of the presentation from last night? Including the little speech from the developer? I seriously thought that guy was mentally unstable. The demo looked cool but we will see how the game plays and how much freedom you have in interacting with the city vs scripted events. |

In what way do you think Microsoft was getting worst as time went on Verno? Other then the obvious dashboard updates with tons of ads and making it harder to get to demos and free content, and major focus on kinect stuff, which is fun for my kids (4 and 5 years old) but I don't see any appeal in it myself. I am just curious where do you figure Microsoft went arrogant? With the DLC everything scheme, or Xbox Live Gold demo exclusives?
I have both consoles (Sony, Microsoft) they both have their place, kids play on the xbox, we use the PS3 for Netflix and BluRay, and I game on my PC mostly except the occasional racing game on the 360. I've been having the 360 for the longest because I liked the MP on it and also enjoyed the exclusives more that Microsoft had like Forza vs Grand Tourismo. To be honest I am really not excited about either new consoles. I don't feel like they can offer anything really exciting or new that is not going to be a gimmick like motion controller 2.0 etc. Sure the graphical fidelity can be cranked up because the PC graphics are way ahead of the consoles but I can't think of any new "features" that either console can come up with that I'd really want or would be excited about. |

Popular points would be specs, price, and release date (either approximate or exact), but I'm pretty sure we won't get all of that tonight. It could be a total fluff announcement with more concrete details at E3, or they could get semi specific (I'm leaning more towards the former).
Maybe they announce a slimmer version of the PS3 with a PS2 chip built in, and 1 more USB port? Call is PS3S or something. |

I think he was refering to the release schedule, DLC subscription etc. It does look like they want to follow CoD footsteps there. As far as gameplay goes it is of course a totally different game, and can be a lot more frustrating then CoD sometimes, due to the requirement of team play. |

Hopefully it wont be out till 2014/15 I think the BF4 beta was supposed to be out later this year, which means game might be out by 2013 holiday season. Beta will probably be 24 hrs long and PS3/4 players will get 6 hours head start.
It does look like they want to turn this into an annual or semi annual CoD franchise. |

Creston Same thing what I was thinking. My 570 GTX doesn't even work up a sweat with most games these days, at 1080p res. and max details. If I've had multiple displays I would look into a 6xx series card but this Titan is way overkill, especially for gaming these days. |

They dream up shit like this all the time. I mean it is not like they have to take responsibility for their bullshit if it doesn't come true. The best job ever. Did Sony even confirmed that the Feb20 event is about the PS4, or is that a speculation? |

I am so not excited about this one. Not sure why, I generally like Codemasters racing games, but this one looks so meh. Hopefully there will be a demo at least to see how the cars handle but I most likely won't get this game. |

Anyways keep an eye on Planetary Annihilation that is your next SupCom game. |

=-Rigs-= I thought Black Ops had Nazi zombies. I can't keep up with these zombie games anymore, way too many of them, like modern military shooters. We need some Ninja zombies I have not seen many of those yet. |

I saw a clip of the opening sequence which looks pretty damn intense.
Anyone played it? Thoughts? I did play it and liked the game however I did not put much time into the single player, I was interested in the MP. If you care for the story of the game read the book, it is really good! |

Do you start arguing about everything in your life that you like and others don't? What's the point? Will you enjoy your game more if John Doe on the internet agrees with you? Lol, you're talking to someone who has actually convinced someone that a game isn't as bad as he and others thought So, yeah... victories are few and far between but they can be turned!
But to be clear I have no intention of defending this game or be seen to be defending it
However, Darks and anyone else has a right to express their opinion, just as much as anybody. Negative != Right, it's just another point of view. People are trying to convince Darks and others it's crap, by saying "see look at the reviews". Anyone is allowed to counter that.
Why bother? It's a sense of injustice. If you feel something is being wrongly attacked, you step in and stand up for it. Other than that it's just about joining a discussion and having your voice heard. If I like a game, I don't need others approval or confirmation that it is a good game. I really liked Supreme Commander 2 and Homefront for example that others hated here. Never stopped me from having fun with it regardless of the general feedback from the community. I also got Starcraft and World of Warcraft and hated both, but millions of others love those games. To me it is not a victory or loss as in a battle, it is my opinion vs others. Do you agree with me or not on a game doesn't change my enjoyment of the game nor my opinion on it. But that's just me. |
