Good luck Blue
People do like to bash the iPhones and Apple Care but the few times I've had to use Apple care I have nothing but good things to say about them.

With that said, I've since switched to Android
If Apple adds wireless charging and water proofing to their phones I may switch back in the future, otherwise I am happy with my LG G3.

Hmmm. I got a similar rig to your old one. Gonna try the free weekend just to see how it runs on my system. i5-3570K@4ghz, 16GB RAM, GTX760.
For sure give it a try. There are a shit ton of options that you can fiddle with to get it running right, maybe I've had something cranked up too high that I missed.

AMD having shitty drivers and slacking off with optimizations until after release.... tell me something new!

This kind of stuff is LITERALLY why I never owned more than 1 ATI GPU in my entire life.
Yeah but they didn't waste a second poking fun of Nvidia about the 3.5Gb RAM thing.

I gave this game a try again after I got my GTX970, figured my 760 was not enough to run this game on high settings, but sadly it still runs like a slide show unless I turn most stuff down to medium.

How's your CPU? I think ArmA's pretty CPU dependent too with all the AI stuff it has going on.
I have an i5-2500k OC to 4.3 and 16Gigs of RAM
It must be the CPU, but it was disappointing to not able to run this game smooth with the new video card.

??? I have a 970 on a 28" IPS panel running at 2540x1440 & almost everything turned to max & it runs incredible.
What is the rest of your system specs like?
For me I couldn't get a steady 60fps, it was all over the fucking place, but mostly 25~30fps 1080p

I've never played this Euro Truck Simulator game but it's actually got a substantial player base from Steam Stats. What's the draw? Isn't it a deliver against the clock type of game?

It seems at any time of the day 10,000 people are playing it.

I suggest you try the demo. It is a great game. Tons of mods available for it, TrackIR and Oculus support also.
There is a reason why so many people playing this constantly.

You will need a pretty beefy rig to run this game at a steady 60fps at 1080p
According to this
Guess all the extra delays went into polishing the console versions.

Evolve was the first review I've seen (heard) with the ringer, not sure if that is the special game he got that ringer for but it certainly added a whole new level of depth to his video game analysis.

Zalman MS800 Plus case, i5 4690 3.5/3.9 (haven't tried to OC it yet), 16gb 2133 ram, Asus z97-A motherboard, Cosair H60 hydro cooling, Gigabyte GTX 970 1329mhz 4gb, 750w modular power supply, Samsung 500gb SSD and I threw in a Logitech Proteus Core mouse for good measure
I have the same video card. Very nice and quiet. Love the backlit logo on top.
I've been thinking of getting one of those Corsair liquid coolers for my CPU.
Enjoy the new system

All these demos do is show you what games with the latest graphics will look like in about 3-4 years.

I still remember the butterfly chick technology demo from Nvidia yeeeeeaaars ago and thought it was the most amazing thing when I ran it. Of course no gaming actually used those graphics or anything close to them.
No because most of these graphical bells and whistles won't be implemented into games unless consoles can handle it.
Very very rare to find a developer that will include PC exclusive features into their games that requires extensive development.
Maybe Chris Roberts can take advantage of some these DX12 features in SC
