True, but I didn't feel like the effort to come up with futuristic sounding parts.

Aw shit. Here. 256TB RAM, a core i19@5.3Ghz and a GTXMegaForceSupreme99990Ti.

Just watch, next there will be a Paint Drying Simulator.

Actually a Marijuana Simulator would probably sell a lot better. Maybe they'll offer a High Grade Herb DLC.
Quick someone start that up on Kickstarter, the game can be called "Yaa man" or "Weed Simulator" with full physics modeling of smoke and lips/cigarette butt collision

Not a bad idea considering they are funding your entire development.

They probably meant to say "We are creating this game with God's own PC in mind."
They also forgot to mention mouse and keyboard support will be a paid DLC 6 months after the game comes out.

That is now finished, enjoy it!
Time to move on to the next feature on the 264 pages long list. Landing gear animations, than helmet HUD bad breath indicator, than the digital hair comb for the backers at 63mill

"Nexus 6 is slower than the Nexus 5" - ouch!

Really? Wow. It's hard to get a Nexus 5 from a carrier now, it was such a great bargain and a good price. 6 is a bit too big, a lot more and now slower? WTF? Went with the LG G3 recently, would have got another Nexus 5.
Yep, and unfortunately it is a hardware issue with the phone not something a firmware update can fix.
Battery life isn't that great either. It looks like when they went to design that phone they went through a checlist of stuff the phone should have and just totally ignored the actual user experience which should have been number 1 priority.
Especially when the competition is pretty tight in the high end android phone market. Sony, LG, Samsung, HTC just releasing top of the line phones in less than 12 months intervals.
I don't see Nexus 6 to be all that successful tbh. Especially not in the long run.
The bait of "getting updates first" can only get you so many suckers to cough up the money. The Nexus 5 is still a better choice for the money imo.

This is not a trolling question; this is a legitimate one. Is this game ever going to be released, or is it in a perpetual development cycle as money comes in without even asking for it? I ask this because the game looks very interesting and I really want to play it (especially since Destiny won't be a PC title), but if the answer is "Um, check back in a couple years and maybe we'll have some news," I'll definitely move on. One Duke Nukem Forever-sized wait was enough for me, thanks.
Until Christ Roberts realizes that and decides to ship the base game and make all the other shit he wants to add in a future DLC (you know kind of like how the other space game did it) you are pretty much looking at a never ending dev cycle for SC.

Steams thumbs up rating, 45%. My line is 80% thumbs up on Steam. Ouch.
I think you're missing out on some great games with those rules, 80% is too high for the internet standard of vote down everything
Well theres that plus I rather not let others decide what games I like.

As the funds increase do the employees get extra or increased bonuses? Would be nice for them as the game development world is quite fickle.
No I think only their contract gets extended as the list of features this game supposed to have is keep on piling up.
They have their work cut out for them for the next 2-3 years

Also, TB did a 15 minute rant on technical issues and some game play shortcomings and didn't come close to finishing the game. Anyone who considers that a review has a really weird definition of that word.

And on top of that a lot of these video reviewers really suck at playing many games. So we take the word of someone who plays little and isn't all that good. It could be right, but they could be way off to. Face it to be a video reviewer you have to have the voice/personality for it to work, actually doing a lot more than that... not required.
Which is why I don't watch/read reviews to make my purchase decisions. If I am unsure about a game I just watch a bunch of let's play vids that are showing off how the game plays without any opinions attached.

Yeah it seems Google shit the bed with both their new devices this year, phone and tablet are both kind of a let down.
They are expensive and not very good.
Just saw the Android Authority review of the Nexus 9 the other day, 4-5 hours on screen time with the battery, overheating issues etc.
Sigh

I agree though the Nexus 6 is aside it's problems just way too big, and it is a bit too expensive for my taste.

Everyone can freely skip through the news post they are not interested in. Just because some people doesn't like to hear from certain games doesn't mean Blue should change anything.
Don't like it? Skip it.
I don't care much for SC but the threads about the game are always entertaining to read

That thumbnail for the youtube vid up there basically defines Just Cause. 2 dudes flying through the air, grappling on to a propane tank.
Exactly, stuff like that what made the previous game so much fun. I could never get into SR, but this game is a blast. Hijack any vehicles on the fly, parachute your way out of trouble, just pure fun.

Yep, annual releases, season pass, micro transactions, fun stuff. Next Gen gaming.
I'll probably just pick up Ass Creed 4 on sale and play that instead. It's probably all patched up, have a bunch of DLC bundled and a heck of a lot cheaper than this new game.
The MP might be dead but I don't really care for the MP anyways.
