Wonder if we'll finally get a Metal Gear collection on the PC? At least, with the consoles being x86 based, we could get it across 3 platforms...

You'd think, but we've yet to see this in action.

I like Destiny. It is a great game, well polished and looks really good on the console. The shooting feels fun and the guns are awesome so far. It's like a mix of Borderlands, Mass Effect and Halo.
Seamlessly team up with 2 other strangers to take down one of those random missions on the map as you roam around is awesome.
Anyways I'll see how long will it keep my interest but so far I like it, lot of fun in coop with friends.

I wasn't hyped about it, but saw some of the gameplay vids, read what people said about the game and wanted to give it a try.
I think when people realize that hype is no good they will just play the games for what they are, entertainment. Don't like it, play something else.
High expectations only can lead to disappointment.

I suppose if you run around with your phone in your hand all day, it probably works for you.

Based on my morning commute, people won't even put down their phones to drive. Maybe it's big enough to come equipped with an airbag.
Airbag won't help those that people checking their phone while driving run over.

I like watches so I don't mind the concept of an apple watch but I just don't see myself wanting to charge one of these things. They will need to hit Kindle levels of battery longevity before I would bother, like one charge should last 2-4 weeks.
I can see those watches being a great fitness partner, listen to music, track your heart rate or use it as a gps for those fitness apps when you are out running.
Much better than dragging your phone around, but to wear those as a watch I still feel like they are more gimmicky than useful.

They blew it bigtime by not using sapphire in the phones
I don't mind about that.. I just think they should have made the base models with 32gb instead of 16.
Agreed 16Gb isn't much these days

All of that sounds good. The beta was what sold me on it, so that's good to hear. My copy is out for delivery...long day at the office.

In fairness to Bungie the servers held up very well in the beta. They've done a fantastic job.
Yeah but who knows how many people will play the game when it comes out vs how many was in the beta.
It's almost guaranteed the 1st day will be a shit show servers down etc.
Hope to be proven wrong though

I've just unsubscribed Mac's channel this past weekend. His reviews were getting a little too much for my taste.
He has some funny stuff but most of his videos felt like a couple of minutes of ranting.
I'd rather watch a lets play video and see how the game plays.

Yeah it felt like the only strategy to win in this game is get off planet as soon as you can turtle up on a moon or something and pour your army over to the main planet or smash the moon into the planet and that is it.

In SC there were so many different ways to win and strategize, it was fun and still is. This game just felt so flat and lifeless in comparison.

Anyone interested just check some YouTube gameplay vids to get an idea.

Can you go into a bit more detail? This might just be a personal preference thing, but it looks to me like this plays a lot like Supreme Commander / Total Annihilation did (which were awesome classics in my book, and I loved the "queued orders" playstyle), and I've been curious if this actually is the case.
It is similar playstyle, but for me personally SC1 was more fun.
I might just have to give this game more time but so far I dislike it very much.
