Can't wait for the last books to get translated. They're pretty fun reads.
I am just finishing the first one (a little late to the party) and it is indeed a great read.

All good franchise are slowly being killed of if they already haven't killed them.
This one was killed a long time ago.
They can call this game Rainbow Six whatever but it is nothing like the old games were.
Insurgency has more things in common with the old Rainbow games than this one does.

That Razer keyboard review doesn't even have the correct picture. I wonder how much of that review was just a copy and paste job of the original Razer Blackwidow keyboard review.

It's clearly taking them longer than expected to compress, and move all those fancy assets they showed off at E3 into a folder, and hide it somewhere in the client, then replace it all with flat, overly bloomed textures on models with half the poly counts.

Coming to a next generation console near you, running at 1080p@60fps a..er..1080p@30...uhh..

Running at a silky smooth 900p@18-26fps in 2016!

Pre-order now!

It's more cinematic that way
Squinting with your eyes required for the full cinematic experience. Looking through the bottom of an empty beer bottle can mimic the eye squinting effects.
Beer bottles not included, preorder now while supplies last!

This game was never going to look like that E3 alpha bullshit, not with the multiplayer centric focus they've been pitching. That was all smoke.
I hate it so much when Ubi does this.
Since Watch Doge I don't believe in their hype BS videos. They can show as much gameplay as they want, I want to see what the final game looks like.

I'm tottering on the edge of 'do I get it now' or 'do I wait'?
Waiting is always the best option.
There will always be deals to get this game, and by waiting you save yourself from the headache of launch day issues.
I got it for free with my video card but if I didn't, I'd just wait and see how the game is after it's out.
See the player feedback not the "gaming media" reviews.

wife got one of the new ipad airs a year+ ago, for the last 6 months it randomly doesn't boot. it seems to not want to boot if the battery is both too full, or too empty.

it mostly sits unused trying to find it's ideal state after being charged and unplugged, waiting for it to discharge enough on it's own to be booted, but then usually forgotten until weeks later when it's magically fully discharged into the ether, and also won't boot.

and yes, booting only occurs when using the home + power button trick, and even then takes several tries.
I think you have a faulty device, you should get a replacement.
I have an iPad Air and have never experienced the things you've described here.

Good luck Blue
People do like to bash the iPhones and Apple Care but the few times I've had to use Apple care I have nothing but good things to say about them.

With that said, I've since switched to Android
If Apple adds wireless charging and water proofing to their phones I may switch back in the future, otherwise I am happy with my LG G3.

Hmmm. I got a similar rig to your old one. Gonna try the free weekend just to see how it runs on my system. i5-3570K@4ghz, 16GB RAM, GTX760.
For sure give it a try. There are a shit ton of options that you can fiddle with to get it running right, maybe I've had something cranked up too high that I missed.

AMD having shitty drivers and slacking off with optimizations until after release.... tell me something new!

This kind of stuff is LITERALLY why I never owned more than 1 ATI GPU in my entire life.
Yeah but they didn't waste a second poking fun of Nvidia about the 3.5Gb RAM thing.

I gave this game a try again after I got my GTX970, figured my 760 was not enough to run this game on high settings, but sadly it still runs like a slide show unless I turn most stuff down to medium.

How's your CPU? I think ArmA's pretty CPU dependent too with all the AI stuff it has going on.
I have an i5-2500k OC to 4.3 and 16Gigs of RAM
It must be the CPU, but it was disappointing to not able to run this game smooth with the new video card.

??? I have a 970 on a 28" IPS panel running at 2540x1440 & almost everything turned to max & it runs incredible.
What is the rest of your system specs like?
For me I couldn't get a steady 60fps, it was all over the fucking place, but mostly 25~30fps 1080p
