They will however probably get burned the first time the internet goes down and the game won't save, then they will return the console or smash it with an axe and make a youtube video of it. |

Verno wrote on Apr 11, 2013, 10:04: Anyways I hope they do go ahead with the online only stuff and get hostile to used games, etc. I want to see Microsoft fail so they get back to producing a good gaming console first, a "leverage into other MS bullshit" product second. Same here Orth's "deal with it" attitude pretty much reflects how Microsoft treats their customers. One of those signs you posted last week was very true Orth was one of the best Sony sales rep. |

I can also watch BluRay movies on the PS3, and download demos of the latest games without paying for subscription. If you are into MP xbox is probably a better choice then.
There are pros and cons for both company, but for the next gen consoles if the Microsoft rumors are true Sony does look like a much better choice already. Sony had the same exact rumors, though. I'll react to them when they're confirmed as true or untrue for either, meaning when the device is released. Even then, I wouldn't be surprised for a company like Sony or Microsoft to update the device for some of this crap at a later date. I think Sony specifically said on the press release that their console will be able to play used games, where is Microsoft wants to move to the all digital download platform ie PC games. I agree with you though, we'll have to wait and see what happens when these consoles come out, and even then they can patch it and change the way they behave completely.
My point was that Microsoft is just as bad as Sony so I do not see one company being any better then the other. For example hard drive swap in PS3 vs Xbox360. It is like a choice between EA or Activision. I am personally happy to be a PC gamer and be able to play gems like Kerbal Space Program. |

Though it's not going to be easy, which is good, but I don't think I have the time for that. At least you can save the flight and ship configs etc. Also you can speed up time ones you are out in space. |

Very very long. I've left a few of those behind. I spent a lot of time designing rescue ships that would link with old capsule and take it back to earth. You can do that? Is it possible? Do they keep track of that stuff in game?
AWESOME Yep you can do all sorts of stuff. I've heard people are building space stations and stuff like that.
I finally broke down and bought the game myself. I've had no problem to get to space with my very first ship but I would like to go to a different planet, or moon. There areso many possibilities with this game. It is going to be a huge time sink. So much fun. |

That is going to be a very US centric feature again just like any of the current TV features on the xbox. None of the sports stuff works on anywhere but the US. Not that I care much but I feel it is pretty stupid to advertise features of the new console that not everyone can use. Why not focus on stuff that everyone that buys this console can use? Otherwise it is just false advertising for everyone lives outside of the US. |

That's not really a joke I am sure they would not use it for anything evil. It would be used to analyze how many calories are in your popcorn, or beer, you body fat ratio calculations etc etc, and Kinect would display that data while you are watching the movie. Kinect would also be able to display advertisement based on your product usage in your home. The future is awesome! |
