Need for DLC.

I wonder how far off we are from having to pay for your gas in game with real cash.
It's already been done
Need for Speed : No Limits
and now we all know what "no limits" means

“Need for Speed is one of the most iconic names in gaming, and we're returning it to greatness in this reboot,”

Copy paste statement from the last 6-7 NFS games.
Thanks EA, but no thanks

That LG TV is very impressive. Amazing how far technology has come. Hope they will sell well and they will be affordable for normal human beings within the next few years.
The picture quality on OLED TVs are incredible

One thing I couldn't do however is add this game to my Steam library as a non steam game so I could play it in my living room streaming it from my gaming pc.
Did anyone figured this out yet?

C:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\x64 is where the witcher3.exe is located.

First thing I did was add it to Steam, no problem. It doesn't show up in the list of selectable exe files though, you have to find it.

Thanks !!!

I did not check the Steam one, I will. You don't have to record anything, if you turn it on the counter will be on screen during gameplay, and if you've had some great game play just press the hot key combo and it saves the last 10 minutes of your gameplay or whatever time you have setup.
It's great.

Just use shadowplay Krovven
No performance hit what so ever, or you can use fraps too it doesn't effect your performance unless you start recording, it will give you a fps counter.
Shadowplay is the best imo though and you already have it installed probably with the Nvidia driver

With the hairworks enabled I am getting around 40-50fps, with it off constant 60fps. I have everything on ultra except shadows, 1080p.
I have the GTX970, i5-2500k
I am running shadowplay with the fps counter on all the time so I can see the fps.

One thing I couldn't do however is add this game to my Steam library as a non steam game so I could play it in my living room streaming it from my gaming pc.

If I want to add the game to my steam library it just adds gog.com not the witcher3 executable.

I didn't experience any crashes. The game runs and looks exceptionally well. Glad I have it on the PC not on the consoles.

The volume in the prerendered cutscenes is way too low, I have to crank my receiver to hear them. That would be fine but its not consistent with the in game volume which is waaay too loud after the cutscenes finish.
Had that exact same issue. The intro cut scene was pretty awesome by the way, but I literally had to go into the game menu and look at the audio levels to see if I can turn up the volume somewhere.

But anyone who has been around 10+ years in PC Gaming knows that while AMD has good hardware, they are NOTORIOUS for horrible drivers. Every time I have upgraded my GPU since the good old VOODOO days, this has played a factor into my purchase of NVIDIA cards, and why I will NOT purchase a AMD card.
That and their heat, noise, and power consumption levels are much much higher than Nvidia cards.
I also like some of the bells and whistles Nvidia cards come with like Physx, and shadowplay which I use extensively to record gameplay.

That's not what I'm saying. I just think it would be a better game in first person. I never said I expected it to be first person when all the others were third. Using imagination is fun, you can imagine awesome things :p
My comment wasn't regarding you at all, not sure why you thought otherwise.

First time I've ever heard that complaint leveled against the series.
None of the Witcher games were ever 1st person anyways and this is the 3rd in the series.
I don't know why would anyone get this game and complaint about not being 1st person.
It's like buying a flight sim and complain it is not a racing game.

So what do people think as their first impressions?

It's quiet in here...
I've only played an hour last night but I am impressed with the visuals.
The game runs butter smooth 60fps on my system with everything on ultra 1080p except the Nvidia hair thing is off.
If I turn that on, my average frame rate is about 10fps lower and the "cutscenes" are running at 40fps for some reason.
My system is i5-2500k, 16Gb RAM, GTX970

Edit:I forgot to mention I am running the old Nvidia drivers not the latest ones that were released for this game.

Can't wait for the last books to get translated. They're pretty fun reads.
I am just finishing the first one (a little late to the party) and it is indeed a great read.

All good franchise are slowly being killed of if they already haven't killed them.
This one was killed a long time ago.
They can call this game Rainbow Six whatever but it is nothing like the old games were.
Insurgency has more things in common with the old Rainbow games than this one does.
