I get Source 2 as those games will likely end up on Steam anyway,
They must be on steam.

This thing looks dang expensive. Wonder how many people can afford such hardware.
Must be more than 2~3 if Nvidia feels the need to invest in such tech

I personally don't see even Elite being a big hit on the xbox. I know I am generalizing here but I don't think Elite is for the general xbox audience.

It's probably not for the general PC audience, either, which apparently gravitates towards MOBAs and other free-to-play games. Even laying that aside, there are a lot of people who put E:D down for not having more objectives and things to do even though it compares favorably to the previous games in that regard.
Right and that is why I am not sure how well it'll do on the consoles. On the PC the game has a big follower group that played the original and backed the game on kickstarter.
Most console gamers aren't pc gamers and in my opinion younger than most pc gamers, and most likely have never heard of Elite the begin with.
Halo, Battlefield, CoD, Gears of War are the type of games that sells on consoles not hardcore open world space sims, or strategy games. It's just my opinion of course.

They'll need a UI overhaul to make them work well with a controller.
I know console games are not very popular on this forum but that Halo RTS game on the original xbox was really well done. The control scheme was spot on. Still not as good as mouse and keyboard of course but it was a proof of RTS games can work with a controller if the devs take their time to make the game work well with it.

Now how popular strategy games are on the consoles is a whole other topic all together.
I personally don't see even Elite being a big hit on the xbox. I know I am generalizing here but I don't think Elite is for the general xbox audience.

Seems unlikely to me that they would put an end to so successful a franchise as The Sims. Perhaps EA is handing the reins over to someone else.
Yeah most likely

Maybe it's just youtube compression but that looked washed out and rather blurry.
It's off screen, and it's being streamed with the GRID console. It's not a direct video from the pc.

console UI doesn't leave me hopeful.
This was a GRID console footage so that is why the UI, otherwise the game looks awesome.
Wonder what kind of hardware especially video card you'll need for visuals like this and solid 60fps

GRID sounds weird, I don't care for the business model. I'd rather just get a Steam Link thingie if I wanted to stream PC games, then at least I can minimize the latency and input lag using my own wired gigabit network.
Yeah streaming pc games you already own on a wired network sounds a little more plausible than streaming games over the internet.
Onlive tried this before and failed, not sure how Nvidia will succeed but I see pretty slim chances of that.
I'll be picking up the Steam Link when it is available.

I've played a lot of the previous Trine game with my kids in coop. Tons of fun

Ditto. It's the third part of the coop triad in our house: Minecraft, Lego series, Trine series.
Yeah same here with Minecraft and Lego.
Great games to play in coop
Also just started playing Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare

My son wants PvZGW so bad. Does it support local coop? Online research shows it was supposed to, but missing for some versions like PS3?
We play it on the xbone and that version has local coop, not sure about other platforms
