So last night I was inside a station landed on a platform and did some shopping for rare goods.
The station only had a few of the items so I alt tab out of the game and browse on the web a little, headphone still on.
I am hearing this shooting going on in game, figured some dumb Ai try to dock again without permission, then goes the explosion.
I didn't care it happened many times before I was just browsing away waiting for the station to refresh stock then I am hearing this strange noise almost like scraping noise and laugh out loud thinking must be someone new try to make it inside the station through the mail slot. I was playing online.

Well the scraping and shield penetration noise kept going on for a good 20seconds when I thought I should check out what's going on, it doesn't take this long to squeeze into the station even if you have no clue how to fly the ship lol

In game I see this huge chunk part of a blown up ship floating in front of me scraping against my ship and that shield noise was my ship's shield.

So lesson of the night. If you go afk be sure to bring your ship under the deck in case some dumb ass gets blown up inside the station and parts of his ship decides to meet up with yours!

According to the dev the game is "mostly" feature complete. It's still a bit pricey I think.
It won't come out until 2016, they take their time to polish and balance the game.

Sorry about the confusion, I know I said earlier I have power problems but I actually have mass problems. I was able to find a Thruster upgrade now that I could fit but most of them says mass exceeds limit or something.

Edit: I think you are right MrTact I was probably looking at the wrong class thrusters which is why I couldn't find one that fitted the ship

Vall I will upgrade the power distributor as soon as I find one at a station that is better than what I have installed. All the stations I've been to tonight sells the small class 2-3 stuff.

When I try to upgrade my thrusters the game tells me it exceeds mass. Soo what does that mean? How can I upgrade them?

Looks pretty cool but I am not sure I'd want to pay this much for this game. I'll probably grab it on sale ones it's released.
Looks more like a $20 game.

I just started running the Pepperidge Farm map with the Autohotkey script so you can leave it on over night, while at work, etc and get home to collect all your bulletins/commanders. Works alright, still dislike the whole system though.

Reddit has a post showing some bits added to the game files in the Feb 4 patch that suggest we're gonna have customizable commanders soon, possibly along with an in-game currency..

Hmmm. Try putting your current build into the ship builder site. It will show you the power usage.

Every time I upgrade my weapons I am dreading the moment I activate them the first time and they trigger the oxygen censor of the ship.
How can I make sure that doesn't happen?
I put so many hours into this game but in a way I still feel like this

When I first saw how much my ship can actually jump after the patch I was like holy crap!
I always thought that the route has to go through that many systems because of the connection between them or something along those lines. Like there are hub systems you have to go through in order to reach a certain system you can not just make a straight connection between them.
So I did not complain about it but now I see it was obviously a bug.
Oh well I am happy it's fixed

Yeah that's why it didn't make sense my ship had 16-20ly jump range and I was doing like 2-3ly jumps.
That 11 stop rare run took forever!!

Other way around
Select fastest route first than hit plot route.
Just for checking things out I hit economy route than plot again and than back to fastest and hit plot again and the route did not change from one to the other

Yeah it must have been a bug on my end than.
I remember specifically switching between economy and fastest route and the route did not change at all.
I know I have to click plot route again ones I switch between eco and fastest.

Anyways I am very happy that is works now. Those trade runs were a major pain in the ass and made my brain hurt by the end of the night
