you'll still make quite a bit more money just hauling fish around the galaxy.
Planning to do that tonight, haven't had time to play much lately but will do now since there is no more wipe

But I want to have relative fairness in games I buy, and it's clear the devs of this can't even spell that word.
Fairness like in that other space game you mean?

Those of us who have been playing the game are fairly pleased by the news we get to keep the assets we've traded hard to get since November.

You could say that about any game, like any mmo in beta. "We worked hard for it", first you are playing a game, but pretty much everyone understands, you get a preview, learn the tricks, help uncover bugs, that is what you win. But when released it all goes back to scratch.

I guess not here, hope if doesn't mean much, but it does have PvP, ahh we'll see.
Right except MMOs you can not play single player.
This one you can without any interaction with other players
So if the concern is that other players will be flying better ships than you do at the start of the game just don't play it online until you feel confident.
Hence the devs suggestion to start out in single player instead of jumping into MP.

Those in the beta have a massive advantage over those that are just buying the game regardless of the character wipe.
But please don't let me interrupt the whining

How about limited edition buckles that have special crystals that shoot a hologram out of your crotch? And they can have like multiple colors, based on how much money you gave them.

I think you've just described the 80mill stretch goal

Have they already done hats? I mean they seem like a no brainer, after TF2. Maybe they could mix it up and sell shoes instead.

Dang, that's a damn impressive list for a game that's like 5 years old. Even redoing the renderer? Hot damn.

Kudos and thank you, Nordic Games.

There is a 40 minutes long gameplay walk through by the devs on YouTube if anyone interested to check it out.
I think I will just skip this one and play Shogun 2 a bit more.

You have to wonder about the state of mind of people who write games like this.
Different strokes for different folks. Some people like games like this some like horror, some can play World of Warcraft for 6-7 years.
If you want to find some really depressing games look into those Japanese rape games.
If you don't like it just skip it but judging by the amount of money this game gathered there is a large enough audience out there for games like this and DayZ and many other "survivor" genre games.
Not sure why you need to insult people that have different taste than you

However... if they could let you drive around in minivan with kids in the back occasionally being annoying, at least it would be semi-realistic and a decent "simulation" for would-be parents...

Goat Simulator
Grass Simulator

and now due to popular demand, from the makers of the 2014 game of the year winner Cigarette butt Simulator comes Parent Simulator 2015!
Preorder now while supplies last!

I pirated Cigarette butt sim. I think it had one of those "pirated copy gotchas", cause I smoked a freshly dropped butt and got herpes. Prolly just a precursor to "STD Simulator"...
I thought that was going to be a DLC

For the PC, yeah. Consoles had raised the bar to 60 bucks a while before.
Console games are $69.99+tax here in Canada (around $80 in Ontario)
I thought that $10 difference between PC and console game prices was the loyalty fee or something to Sony and Microsoft?
Not really sure why some games cost the same across all platforms though.
