#155 as I said, there were no soundfiles at all in the "sound.pak/weapons/mp5"-dir - it was empty...
very early in this thread someone else had the same prob... now I find it strange that others have sound 
but thx anyway (it's no problem anyway, I copied the sounds from the mp-beta in...)

ok, I don't have to say how nice this game is, but one thing was really strange: the MP5 had absolutely no sound... so I looked into the FCData/Sounds.pak (just zipped, Q3 like) and there was no single soundfile for the MP5 at all - they've just forgotten to put some in... really strange... 
...someone else had this?

I just remember this game never properly running on any machine I've ever had, even after the gazillion patches.
it ran perfectly with the latest patch for me... and I liked it much (with a few exceptions - graphics were too blocky, I can't stand sewers anymore...).
sad, I hope they make pt.2 one day! or release the demo (plz? :))

90% of the complaints can be solved by editing a text file!
no, it can not; such a crappy performance can't be undone with ini-editing. and it's not just one guy or a special type of hardware, there are many with complaints about that issue. it's somewhat poor programing (and I'm in no way the one that accuses this on a regular base!!) but to make such a mess with ini's is just unacceptable - they should have parted the XBox and PC stuff and optimize better; as someone said even the DOOM3 alpha ran better than this demo - and it has an even more advanced engine...

Damn, I'm dissapointed!
This demo feels very much like a beta at least and no way like a finished product. story/gameplay/atmosphere is all important, but useless if it plays like this 
plus its not saving any options and it even ignores my ini, so editing is just useless. and I changed the read-only...
