And I just watched Airplane the other day too. Robert Stack was perfect deadpan in that film. I love the scen where he beats the hell out of all the religious kooks trying to give him flowers and pamphlets. He'll be missed.

Conan's Father: No one in this world can you trust. Not men, not women, not beasts.[Points to sword.] But this... this you can trust.

Corporations can't regulate themselves because the bottom line always comes first, so the gubment has to. Obesity has a massive negative economic and lifestyle (physical and mental health) impact on society, and it has to be dealt with. Most people aren't aware of the problem or are too lazy to care (because they're obese), so someone has to do something. Also, you have to remember this suit is in part at trying to get corporations to change how they target children through advertising as well. It's pretty slimy how they go about it now. They're not trying to ban Oreo's, just trans-fats, which is a good thing.

That's why I hate not having manual roll-down windows in cars anymore. Imagine if the Thai guy had gone into the water? Doors won't unlock, can't roll the windows down, can't kick them out from inside? *shudder*
HAL: Let me put it this way, Mr. Amer. The 9000 series is the most reliable computer ever made. No 9000 computer has ever made a mistake or distorted information. We are all, by any practical definition of the words, foolproof and incapable of error.

Art is whatever moves you, and the critics be dammned. A book, painting, sculpture, photo, etc. The litmus test is how you respond to it, and the value you assign to it. Great art is just something that appeals to a broad spectrum of people, because it touches on a commonality shared by our species. That's all.
E3! Looking forward to this E3 like I haven't looked forward to E3 in years. I think you're nuts for not going this year Blue.

Just because some you lack the intelligence, wit and education to appreciate a game of finesse, doesn't mean it will suck. It only means it will suck because you lack the intelligence, with and education to appreciate a political simulator. Stick to Deer Hunter or whatever garbage it is that amuses hicks like you. Leave the complex stuff to us adults, and keep your asinine remarks out of these threads. I merely responded in a manner that I was certain even dimwits like yourselves could comprehend. Republic is akin to a fine wine appreciated by an oenophile like myself, while your sort quaffs brown bags of malt liquor.

Any company that wants my business will make available to me the same info/demos, etc. that they do to suscribers sites, or it'll result in them not getting my business.
The odds are stacked against them from the outset anyway. It's a heavily competitive industry and games are a vastly overpriced luxury. This means most people are pretty selective in what they buy. The publisher really has to work to get my dollars. Expecting that I'll pay someone else to get what really amounts to no more than advertising in the first place (that's what any specialized "journalism" is), just isn't going to happen.

Man, at an almost 70 percent obesity rate in the US, they won't have to worry about terrorists killing them all, all the fast food joints will do it for them.
Something needs to be done, that's just ridiculous.

I haven't trusted anything to do with Origin and EA for years now, I have little faith this'll be any good either. Their CS skills and how they deal with hax/griefers etc. is just abysmal.

No, it's a poor piece of satire.
As fo the climber, my sympathy is offset by his own stupidity of climbing alone. That's just asking for trouble. A ballsy bastard perhaps, but not all that bright.

I'm curious what the inside of an anus looks like, and I know that anyone who believes Dubya about anything can tell me, because they clearly have their heads lodged up their own asses.
The fact that criminals like Bush and Cheny are not only not dead, but allowed to be in power to commit them only further prooves there's no god-or at least one that cares-in this Universe.

UGH - Dual wield... |

Goddammit I'm really starting to hate Bob Salvatore for creating the 'wuss with the scimitars'. Every fucking game and his dog that has some form of melee combat has to include dual-wield now. Back in the day before the wuss showed up, no one gave a rats ass about dual-wield. I thought Lucas was adamant about not having dual-wielding Jedi. The only reason Anakin did it-and lost his goddamned hand-was to show its bad to dual wield. Now the MP version of this game is going to be people running around dual-wileding using a skin that looks like the wuss.
fucking *sigh*
