For some reason I loved this MMORPG when it first came out. When I got an offer to come back and try it out there was nobody in the game ...there was like 200 -150 people per server!!! If more people played this game I would pick it up again.

I have a feeling that co-op will never be an official add on. It will be the same with DOOM3.
Even know both have co-op on the X-Box and both systems use a windows based OS and very little would need to be done to add the same CO-OP funtionality to the PC it will NEVER happen.
WHY? because microsoft made sure that co-op was exclusive to there X-Box. The worst think is reading the BS excuses that the developers make about not adding CO-OP.

I just finished watching Catch 22...the cinamitography is amazing!
I wonder is games can ever reach the same level of artistic grandure that the great films have. I hope one day games will evolve into a high art form like paintings or film...but in there own unique way.

Quitting Gaming |

Well I've givin this some though and I've decided to quit playing video games :(.
It just does not bring me pleasure any more. It seems I find it more enjoyable just reading comments about them on boards like this.
There is a cycle to my habit... I see an up and coming video game I want really bad, then I read all about it for months, and then when it comes out I play it for mabe 2 weeks and I'm sick of it already.
My computer cost more then my bike, and my bike gives me more pleasure...I think I've reached a turning point.
I hope this resolution last longer then my "Stop Eating a Pack of Bacon Every Day" diet, cause Halflife 2 is looking really great!!!!
Damn it!!!... now where did that bacon go?....

Who ever thinks Joint Ops is a big steaming turd either hasn't played it, or is a complete and utter moron. After seeing all the crap novalogic pushed out the door before, I was adamant about picking up Joint Ops but I'm so glad I did. Joint Ops is great! I used to play tons of BF 1942 and BFV but now all I play is Joint Ops.

I'm enjoying Doom3 but I'm not sure if its going to have much longevity. Once you know where the mobs are coming from and so on. I don't think I'll want to play through it again...but I may because the graphics are sooo sweeet. Great game to show off your video card with. MP isn't really that great.... using shadows is cool but only a handfull of maps and very Q3 like action its not gonna hold me for long. D3DM1 is a great map.

Derek Smart couldn't even make something as good a FS1 let alone FP2 even if he was given the source code he I bet he would fuck up the copolation and then blam it on the FS fan base.
Derek Smart go become a farmer or something cause you suck at this whole game development thing.
Haha, Derek getting the FS licences is like Fat Albert winning the Gold in the 100m.

I'm not sure how the teams are created and managed at DICE canada but I would think that the man hours would have been better spent on BFV patch 1.1(which has been WAY too long in coming for whats in it)

Haslsy its funny that you said this today Is my birthday and my upstairs neighbor woke me up at 5 am in the morning with loud crappy country music. At first I thought "wouldn't it be great to grab my bat and run up there and beat him senseless?" Then I thought " Hmmm what if I really hurt him and I go to jail or what if he gets the bat away from me and I get really hurt?" Instead of fuming and dreaming of all the things I might never do to him because of the possible consequences, I choose cheap and immature vengance. As I am writing this ,I am saving up a 2L pop container full of my own urine, when it is full I'm going to tape a small straw onto it and slip it under his door and cover his entry way with piss. It should stink very badly by the time that loser wakes up again. Childish? Yes. Immoral? Maybe. Satisfying? Absolutly!!!!
